Who was Blake Bortles throwing to?
The Jacksonville Jaguars made the inevitable move to put Blake Bortles in Sunday, and he should remain the team's starting quarterback for the foreseeable future. What does that mean for the team's skill position players? Bortles took over at halftime and led the team on three scoring drives in his first six times out. He showed a proclivity for big plays -- two touchdowns -- and big mistakes -- two interceptions -- and made full use of the team's weapons. He targeted eight players in the game, and it broke down like this: Cecil Shorts: eight targets, five receptions, one touchdown (7 yards); Allen Hurns: three targets, one reception, one touchdown (63 yards). one interception; Allen Robinson: eight targets, five receptions, one interception; Jordan Todman: one target; Mickey Shuler: one target; Will Ta'ufo'ou: one target, one reception; Denard Robinson: one target; Toby Gerhart: one target, one reception
