Kyle Juszczyk recorded three receptions for 19 yards on five targets in Sunday's 23-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.Though Jordan Mason has logged 20-plus carries in both of the 49ers' first two games in the absence of Christian McCaffrey (Achilles), Mason hasn't assumed McCaffrey's high-volume role in the passing game, logging just two targets. Mason's lack of involvement on passing downs has paved the way for Juszczyk to see more looks as a check-down target for quarterback Brock Purdy, with the fullback's five targets Sunday representing his most in a game since the 2021 season. Juszczyk still isn't seeing enough volume as a pass catcher to put himself on the fantasy radar, however, and he has yet to see any use as a ballcarrier through two weeks.
