Report: Tajh Boyd signs with the Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers have come to terms on a deal with former Clemson University quarterback Tajh Boyd on Friday, according to Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Boyd was a sixth-round pick by the Jets last year, and was cut in training camp. The 24-year-old spent last year playing in the Fall Experimental Football League before rejoining the NFL.

Report: Giants set to work out Tajh Boyd
The New York Giants are set to work out rookie quarterback Tajh Boyd, who was waived by the Jets, according to NorthJersey.com. Boyd, who could not land a spot on the Jets out of the preseason, has already worked out with Buffalo. The Giants struggled mightily on offense in their opener Monday night against Detroit.

The New York Jets have cut their roster down to 53 by waiving a number of players. Those on offense are quarterback Tajh Boyd and Matt Simms, wide receivers Clyde Gates and Stephen Hill, running backs Daryl Richardson and Alex Green, tight end Chris Pantale, linemen Brent Qvale and Caleb Schlauderaff. The defenders imclude defensive backs Rontez Miles, Jeremy Reeves, Johnny Patrick, Dimitri Patterson and Brandon Dixon, linemen Zach Thompson, Kerry Hyder and Tevita Finau and linebackers Garrett McIntyre and A.J. Edds. Linebacker Antwan Barnes has been placed on the PUP list.

Tajh Boyd can't survive final cuts by Jets
Rookie quarterback Tajh Boyd is among the players cut Saturday by the New York Jets. Boyd, who was taken in the sixth round of the 2014 draft out of Clemson. He managed to complete 8 of 17 passes for 98 yards and one touchdown in the preseason.

Jets select Tajh Boyd
With pick No. 213 in the NFL Draft, the New York Jets selected quarterback Tajh Boyd from Clemson. Boyd will now be the No. 3 on the depth chart if he beats out Matt Simms behind Michael Vick and Geno Smith. He is a project for the Jets, but he could be an option in 2015 if Vick is gone and Smith struggles. Boyd was a finalist for the Johnny Unitas and Manning Awards in 2013 after going 283-of-413 passing for 3,851 yards with 34 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 13 starts. He also had 154 rushes for 400 yards and 10 touchdowns. Boyd became the first quarterback in ACC history with 30-plus touchdown passes in three seasons and set the conference mark with 107 career touchdown passes.
