Bengals make eight more moves to get to 75
In addition to the moves the Cincinnati Bengals made Monday, most notably releasing receiver Denarius Moore, the team cut seven more players to get down to the 75-man limit, per ESPN.com. The team released WR Desmond Lawrence, LB Nico Johnson, DT Kwame Geathers, DE Sam Montgomery, OG Chris Jasperse, TE John Peters and WR Tevin Reese. The team put FB Mark Weisman and WR Onterio McCalebb on the waived/injured list, LB Sean Porter on the reserve/PUP list and OT Cedric Ogbuehi on the reserve/non-football injury list.

Bengals MLB Rey Maualuga (hamstring) ruled out
The Cincinnati Bengals announced middle linebacker Rey Maualuga won't return from the hamstring injury he suffered in the second quarter at Indianapolis. With Maualuga out, linebackers Marquis Flowers and Nico Johnson will see increased snaps.

Bengals in fairly good shape heading into Week 13 game
As expected, the Cincinnati Bengals have ruled out linebacker Vontaze Burfict (knee) and defensive end Margus Hunt (ankle) for the Sunday game against Tampa Bay. The team is otherwise healthy. Linebacker Nico Johnson (illness) has been deemed questionable while defensive end Robert Geathers (toe), safety George Iloka (groin), wideout Greg Little (illness) and offensive lineman Mike Pollak (knee) are probable.

Bengals sign LB Nico Johnson off Chiefs practice squad
The Cincinnati Bengals announced Wednesday they signed linebacker Nico Johnson off the Chiefs practice squad. Johnson totaled seven tackles (five solo) in six games for the Chiefs in 2013.

Chiefs pare roster down to 53
The Kansas City Chiefs have announced their final round of cuts and other moves to reach the league-mandated roster of 53 players. Among the offensive players let go are fullback Jordan Campbell, wide receivers Fred Williams and Mark Harrison, guard Ricky Henry, tackle J'Marcus Webb and running back Charcandrick West. The defensive players gone from the roster are safeties Jonathon Amaya and Malcolm Bronson, linemen Dominique Hamilton, Kyle Love and Kona Schwenke, linebackers Alonzo Highsmith, Devan Walker and Nico Johnson and cornerbacks Justin Rogers and DeMarcus Van Dyke . The Chiefs have also placed Tyler Bray and Kyle Williams on IR and Mike Catapano on the non-football injury list.

Three injuries headline Chiefs inactives
Among the seven players inactive for the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16 against the Colts, only three are out as a result of injuries. Tackle Branden Albert (knee) is joined on the sidelines by linebackers Justin Houston (elbow) and Nico Johnson (ankle). Additionally, offensive linemen Rishaw Johnson and Eric Kush, quarterback Tyler Bray, and defensive lineman Jaye Howard are all out of uniform Sunday.

Justin Houston one of two linebackers out for Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston was unable to play through his elbow injury in Week 16 against the Colts Sunday, the fourth game in a row he has missed as a result of the injury. Houston was able to return to practice during the week, but could not play Sunday. Houston was joined by fellow linebacker Nico Johnson (ankle) on the inactive list for Week 16.

The Kansas City Chiefs have designated seven players as probable for Sunday against Indianapolis, including pass-catchers Sean McGrath (knee), Anthony Fasano (concussion/knee) and Dexter McCluster (ankle).
