The New York Jets lost three players to concussions and three others to an assortment of injuries in Friday's preseason game against Atlanta, per ESPN. Wide receiver Jeremy Kerley, safety Durell Eskridge and running back Daryl Richardson all left with concussions. Offensive tackle Ben Ijalana left the game with a knee injury. Shaq Evans might miss season with shoulder injury
New York Jets coach Rex Ryan said rookie wide receiver Shaq Evans has a "severe" shoulder injury, which could force the team to place him on injured reserve. "Shaq Evans, his shoulder looks pretty bad," Ryan said, per the New York Daily News. "He’s still out there in the (red non-contact) jersey, very limited. We’ll see that how that goes but it doesn’t look good right now."
