Falcons' Phillip Adams: Fails to record a stat in season finale
Phillip Adams didn't record any stats in the season finale against the Saints. All things considered, it wasn't a bad 2015 season for Adams, who was claimed by the Atlanta Falcons off waivers in September. He finished the season with 38 total tackles, a forced fumble, an interception and four passes defensed. He'll be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but he's probably performed well enough to garner another look from the Falcons or another team in need of secondary depth.

Atlanta announced that it has signed contracts with defensive end Adrian Clayborn and cornerback Phillip Adams. Clayborn's 2014 season ended early due to a biceps injury. Adams, a journeyman entering his sixth NFL season, appeared in 12 games for the Jets in 2014 and totaled 24 tackles and one interception. Clayborn played the entire 2013 season and recorded 64 tackles and 5 1/2 sacks.
