Shaun Prater played seven snaps on defense in Thursday's loss to Arizona but did not record a tackle.He was re-signed to the team on Tuesday before the game and got some playing time, showing how thin the Minnesota Vikings are in the secondary. He could continue to get a few snaps per game the rest of the season.

Shaun Prater suffers mild concussion Saturday
Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said after Saturday's game that cornerback Shaun Prater suffered a mild concussion, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. The team announced during the game that Prater left with a head injury and would not return. He'll have to clear concussion protocol before being allowed back on the field.

Minnesota Vikings defensive back Shaun Prater will not return to Saturday's preseason game due to a head injury, the team announced. Prater made just one tackle on special teams before being injured. He will have to pass concussion protocol before being allowed back on the field if the injury was concussion related.
