Report: Panthers sign CB Teddy Williams
Cornerback Teddy Williams has been signed by the Carolina Panthers, reports NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport. The deal is for two years and $2.3 million. He will earn $900,000 in the first year of the contract. Williams, 26, never played college football because it wasn't offered at his school. Primarily used on special teams, he has only played one snap on defense in the NFL. The Panthers will be his sixth team in the last five seasons.
