Browns rookie DT Xavier Cooper sacking his way to recognition
Cleveland Browns rookie defensive tackle Xavier Cooper has opened eyes in training camp and through two preseason games. Those eyes opened wider when he registered sacks two and three Thursday night against Buffalo. The Browns selected Cooper late in the third round because they were intrigued by his quick first step, according to the team website. His success hasn't surprised fellow Browns rookie lineman Dylan Wynn, who played against Cooper in college. "Coop's been killing it," Wynn said. "He's a monster. He was just like that at Washington State ... He's a special player. He definitely got slept on in the draft and that's why he went third round. ... He just gets it done."
