Quartet of injured Buccaneers ruled out for Sunday
Several injured Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been placed on the inactive list for the Sunday game against New Orleans, including linebacker Mason Foster (Achilles). Also hurt and out are running back Robert Herron (hip), wide receiver Solomon Patton (foot) and cornerback Isaiah Frey (ankle). Their healthy scratches are tackle Anthony Collins, running back Mike James and defensive end George Uko.

Goldson, Foster among notable questionable for Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ruled running back Bobby Rainey (wrist) as probable for Sunday's game against the Packers. He was the only player on Tampa Bay's final injury report for Week 16 deemed probable. Safety Major Wright (ribs) was ruled out. Meanwhile, the following players were deemed questionable: Cornerback Isaiah Frey (ankle), linebacker Mason Foster (Achilles), safety Dashon Goldson (shin), defensive tackle Clinton McDonald (hamstring), tackle Kevin Pamphile (ankle) and wide receiver Solomon Patton (foot).

McCoy, Frey will not return for Bucs in Week 15
Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (knee) and defensive back Isaiah Frey (ankle) were downgraded to out Sunday against the Panthers. Both players were injured in the first half before being ruled out for the remainder of the game right after halftime.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed former Bears cornerback Isaiah Frey, reports the Tampa Bay Times. Frey made 12 tackles and forced two fumbles in three games with Chicago this season.

The Chicago Bears released cornerback Isaiah Frey, according to ESPN.com. He had six tackles and a forced fumble in the Week 5 loss at Carolina.

Bears sign two players, release three
The Chicago Bears announced Tuesday they promoted defensive back Isaiah Frey and wide receiver Rashad Ross from the practice squad. The team also released running back Shaun Draughn, wide receiver Chris Williams and tight end Matthew Mulligan.
