Cardinals' Derrick Coleman: Signs one-year contract with Arizona
Derrick Coleman signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.Coleman spent the 2017 campaign with the Falcons, recording two carries for eight yards and a pair of receptions for 20 yards. More importantly, he suited up in all 16 games and was an asset as a blocker, so Arizona brought him aboard with the hope that he would provide similar reliability on those fronts. The expectation is that Coleman will operate as the team's starting fullback right away ahead of other potential options like Elijhaa Penny and undrafted rookie Austin Ramesh.
