Broncos list inactives for Week 17
The Denver Broncos have listed S T.J. Ward, RB Juwan Thompson, LB Brandon Marshall , OL Paul Cornick, OL Michael Schofield, TE Dominique Jones and DT Mitch Unrein as inactive Week 17 against the Raiders. Marshall was the only player ruled out prior to Sunday. Both Cornick and Ward were listed as questionable. Cornick is dealing with a toe injury. Ward has a neck issue. Thompson was actually listed as probable, but will not play. He has both hip and knee injuries. Unrein was also listed as probable. He's dealing with an illness. The other two players listed are healthy scratches.

The Broncos placed running back Montee Ball (groin) and safety Quinton Carter (knee) on season-ending injured reserve in order to clear roster spots for linebacker Danny Trevathan (knee) on the 53-man active roster and tight end Dominique Jones on the practice squad.

Quarterback Jordan Palmer and veteran punter Brian Moorman are the two most significant cuts announced by the Buffalo Bills on Friday. Palmer was let go three days after his signing. He had been cut by Chicago on Tuesday. He has only played in five regular season games in five years. Moorman has been booting for the Bills as the No. 1 punter 2001, aside from one season with Dallas. The other cuts are linebacker Xavius Boyd, defensive tackle Landon Cohen, tight end Dominique Jones, cornerbacks Kamaal McIlwain and Sam Miller, fullback Evan Rodriguez, wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt and center Jared Wheeler.

Dominique Jones in, Mark Asper out for Buffalo
