    Max Tuerk's family announced in a statement that the 26-year-old passed away Saturday after collapsing during a hike with his parents in the Cleveland National Forest in California.A third-round pick of the Chargers in 2016, Tuerk spent parts of two seasons with the club before being cut loose in October 2017. The former USC center went on to join the Cardinals later that season but had been out of the NFL since being waived by Arizona in April 2018.
