    The Buffalo Bills have announced that they have signed defensive end Erik Williams back to their roster and waived/injured wide receiver Justin Brown with an undisclosed physical problem. Brown caught 12 passes for 94 yards last season.

    Bills tender offers to Chris Hogan, Justin Brown, Corbin Bryant

    The Buffalo Bills extended qualifying offers to exclusive rights free agents Chris Hogan, Justin Brown and Corbin Bryant on Thursday, the team announced. By extending the offers, the Bills ensure the players will return to the team in 2015 on one-year contracts.

    Bills claim WR Justin Brown

    The Buffalo Bills claimed WR Justin Brown , the team announced on Tuesday morning. Brown was released by the Steelers on Dec. 30.  The Steelers selected Brown in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma. He spent two seasons with the team, appearing in 8 games, all in the 2014 season. Brown has 12 career catches for 94 yards.

    With Le'Veon Bell injured, Steelers sign RB Ben Tate

    The Pittsburgh Steelers announced they signed free agent running back Ben Tate, and he's expected to be in uniform Saturday night when Pittsburgh hosts Baltimore in the playoffs. The Steelers needed a running back with Le'Veon Bell looking unlikely to play. Bell sustained a hyperextended knee Sunday night against the Bengals. Tate joins Josh Harris and Dri Archer in the backfield after playing eight games for the Browns and Vikings this year. To make room on the roster, Pittsburgh released wideout Justin Brown. The Steelers are 3-point favorites over the Ravens.

    Steelers list Week 17 inactives vs. Bengals

    The Pittsburgh Steelers have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday night's Week 17 showdown with the Bengals: cornerback Ike Taylor (shoulder, forearm), safety Troy Polamalu (knee), tight end Michael Palmer (groin), quarterback Landry Jones, wide receiver Justin Brown, defensive end Clifton Geathers and guard Chris Hubbard. Taylor, Polamalu and Palmer were all listed as questionable to play Sunday but none of the three will be available for the regular-season finale. The three players listed as probable to play in Week 17 are all active, including tackle Kelvin Beachum (back), tight end Matt Spaeth (elbow) and linebacker Vince Williams (ankle). Pittsburgh is a 3 1/2-point favorite at home against Cincinnati.

    Steelers without Ike Taylor, Troy Polamalu for Sunday against Chiefs

    The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without starting cornerback Ike Taylor and safety Troy Polamalu for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.  Taylor has been dealing with a shoulder injury that also caused him to miss Week 15's game against the Falcons. Polamalu, who is dealing with a knee injury, has 61 tackles and one forced fumble in 2014.  Other inactives for Pittsburgh include: quarterback Landry Jones, wide receiver Justin Brown, defensive end Clifton Geathers, offensive lineman Chris Hubbard, and tight end Matt Spaeth.

    Trio of injured Steelers inactive for Sunday game

    Three injured players have been placed on the inactive list by the Pittsburgh Steelers for their Week 15 game against the Falcons. They are cornerback Ike Taylor (shoulder), linebacker James Harrison (knee) and tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle).     The Pittsburgh Steelers have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday night's Week 9 matchup with the Ravens: cornerbacks Ike Taylor (forearm) and B.W. Webb, safety Ross Ventrone (hamstring), quarterback Landry Jones, nose tackle Dan McCullers-Sanders, guard Chris Hubbard and wide receiver Justin Brown. Both Taylor and Ventrone had been ruled out on the team's final injury report of the week, so their absence is not a surprise. All nine players listed as probable to play are active for Sunday's game.
