Dolphins LT Branden Albert, DB Don Jones out of OTAs
As expected, Miami Dolphins left tackle Branden Albert (knee) and defensive back Don Jones (shoulder) have been ruled out of OTA work, per the Miami Herald. Albert is expected to be ready to roll for the season opener. The team has repeatedly claimed that he is on track, though offensive line coach John Benton is making no guarantees. "From what I've heard it looks promising," he told the Palm Beach Post. "To say I'm confident is probably a little bit of a stretch. He promises me. I certainly hope that's the case - we're a much better crew with him. At the same time you have to make the plans that he won't (be ready)." The shoulder injury that has sidelined Jones has been a factor since late in the regular season.
