Jets' Kendall James: Placed on active/PUP list
Kendall James (undisclosed) has been placed on the active/PUP list, New York Daily News' Manish Mehta reports.The former sixth-round pick out of Maine serves primarily as a depth cornerback for the New York Jets. James will have to prove his worth throughout training camp and the preseason to ensure a spot on the team come September.

Chargers dump G Jeff Baca, CB Kendall James
The San Diego Chargers have waived guard Jeff Baca from their active roster and cornerback Kendall James from their practice squad. Baca was released by Dallas in mid-November and played in just one game for San Diego.

Texans bring in Charles James, Kendall James
The Houston Texans have signed cornerbacks Charles James and Kendall James to the practice squad. Charles James was undrafted, but did make an appearance with the Giants in 2013. He recorded two tackles and induced a fumble. Kendall James was drafted by the Vikings this year, but did not make the 53-man roster.

Vikings add nine, subtract two
The Minnesota Vikings signed nine players to their practice squad: running back Joe Banyard, wideouts Kain Colter and Donte Foster, defensive tackle Isame Faciane, tight end Chase Ford, cornerback Kendall James, center Zac Kerin, offensive tackle Mike Remmers and defensive end Justin Trattou. Minnesota released linebacker Larry Dean and offensive tackle Austin Wentworth.

Vikings draft CB Kendall James
With pick No. 184 in the NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings selected cornerback Kendall James from Maine. James is 5-foot-10, 180 pounds and could be a slot corner down the road in Minnesota. He will also play on special teams. In 2013, James recorded a stat line of 36-9-2 with 2.5 tackles for loss in 13 starts at right corner. He also had a blocked field goal against New Hampshire.
