Four ailing Panthers red-lighted in Week 16
A quartet of injured Carolina Panthers have landed on their inactive list for the Sunday game against the Browns. Among them are running back DeAngelo Williams (hand), cornerback Carrington Byndom (hamstring), linebacker A.J. Klein (knee) and guard Amini Silatolu (knee). The healthy scratches are safety Robert Lester, defensive tackle Kyle Love and offensive tackle David Foucault.

The Carolina Panthers have listed seven players on its final injury report for Week 16 against Cleveland, four of which were deemed questionable. Those four include linebacker A.J. The Carolina Panthers have ruled out quarterback Cam Newton (back) and guard Amini Silatolu (knee) for Week 14 against Tampa Bay. Running back DeAngelo Williams (hand) was the only player on Carolina's final injury report ruled doubtful for the game. The following players were deemed as probable: Wide receiver Corey Brown (shoulder), cornerback Carrington Byndom (illness), center Ryan Kalil (rest), linebacker A.J. Klein (knee), tight end Greg Olsen (knee), guard Chris Scott (foot), guard Amini Silatolu (knee) and running back Jonathan Stewart (hip).

Panthers promote Byndom, Miller to 53-man roster
The Carolina Panthers announced cornerback Carrington Byndom and linebacker Horace Miller have been promoted from the practice squad to the 53-man roster Tuesday. The promotions were made possible after the Panthers released cornerback Antoine Cason and linebacker Jason Williams.
