Greg Ducre (ankle) was waived/injured by the Steelers on Wednesday, TribLive.com reports.Ducre's last regular season action came during a stint with the Chargers in 2015. He went down with an ankle injury in the team's Week 2 preseason victory over the Falcons. The 25-year-old will presumably clear waivers and revert to the team's injured reserve.

Greg Ducre suffered a left ankle injury in Sunday's preseason game against the Falcons, Chris Adamski of TribLive.com reports.The cornerback went down with the injury after downing a punt in the third quarter of Sunday's victory. With Ducre fighting for a spot on the team's 53-man roster, the injury isn't exactly a timely one, and given that he was seen walking on crutches, the defensive back could be out for an extended time.

Mathews is nursing an ankle injury, while Allen is suffering from an ankle and shoulder injury. Chargers list Week 16 inactives vs. 49ers
The San Diego Chargers have listed the following players as inactive for Saturday's Week 16 matchup against the 49ers: running back Ryan Mathews (ankle), wide receiver Keenan Allen (ankle, shoulder), nose tackle Ryan Carrethers (elbow), punter Mike Scifres, cornerback Greg Ducre, linebacker Cordarro Law and defensive end Damion Square. Mathews and Allen were ruled out on the team's final Week 16 injury report, while Carrethers was deemed probable to play. However, the Chargers will have Philip Rivers (chest, back), who was ruled probable, as well as tight end Ladarius Green (ankle, concussion) and defensive tackle Corey Liuget (ankle), both of whom were questionable. The Chargers are a 1-point underdog in San Francisco Saturday.
