Seahawks' Kevin Smith: Reverts to IR
Kevin Smith (hamstring) will revert to the Seattle Seahawks' injured reserve list, Stephen Cohen of SeattlePi.com reports.He'd been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury throughout training camp. Now done for the year, the three receptions for 43 yards he amassed in 2015 could very well be Smith's only offensive production as a Seahawk.

Kevin Smith was promoted from the practice squad on Tuesday.The Seahawks were only carrying four wide receivers, and with Paul Richardson (hamstring) ailing, Smith was brought in to provide depth. However, this is not an offense that lends itself to much wide receiver production, especially down the depth chart.

Seahawks sign receiver Kevin Smith
The Seattle Seahawks signed former University of Washington receiver Kevin Smith, reports the Seattle Times. Smith was formerly with the Cardinals and Jaguars this offseason. In 2013, he made 50 catches for 765 yards for the Huskies. He becomes the 13th receiver on the Seahawks' roster.
