Harbaugh 'really excited' about Ravens rookie CB Tray Walker

The NFL draft is always a bit of a crapshoot, but even moreso in the later rounds. Every selection is hit-or-miss. That certainly holds true for Baltimore Ravens fourth-rounder Tray Walker. The 200-pound cornerback out of Texas Southern was not even invited to the NFL scouting combine despite his 4.4 speed. But he visited many teams and finally landed in Baltimore. John Harbaugh knew all about him. So did general manager Ozzie Newsome. "He's a guy that we had targeted," Harbaugh said. "We really hoped to get him in the draft. He's a guy that we wanted to get in the mid-rounds. ... We know for a fact that he would have been gone with our next pick in the fifth round. He would have been gone early in that round." Walker is the first Texas Souther player chosen since wideout Joey Jamison was taken by the Packers in the fifth round of the 2000 draft. And the rookie cornerback is living up to expectations. "Tray has done well," Harbaugh said. "Really excited about Tray. He looks very good up here."
