George Farmer was released by the Seahawks on Tuesday, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR reports.Farmer was one of 11 running backs on the depth chart but will now hit the free agency market after he failed to standout from the crowd. Cowboys waive WR George Farmer, sign WR David Porter
The Dallas Cowboys have released George Farmer and signed fellow undrafted rookie free agent wide receiver David Porter, the Dallas Morning News has reported. Farmer was on the field for 18 plays and targeted twice in the preseason opener, but did not make a catch. Porter, who was let go by Denver on Monday, caught 39 passes for 392 yards and three touchdowns last season for TCU.
