Saints' Foster Moreau: Departs Sunday with ankle injury
Foster Moreau is questionable to return to Sunday's matchup versus the Jets due to an ankle issue, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.Moreau was injured when he was tackled after making a catch in the third quarter. The veteran tight end has been working as New Orleans' No. 2 option at the position behind Juwan Johnson. If Moreau can't return Sunday, Taysom Hill and/or Jack Stoll could see more offensive snaps.

Saints' Foster Moreau: Logs zero targets in win
Foster Moreau totaled zero targets during Sunday's 20-17 win versus the Panthers.Moreau did not attract a target for the fourth time in 10 appearances this season. The 28-year-old played 43 percent of offensive snaps behind TE1 Juwan Johnson, as the former has played over 45 percent of offensive snaps just once this year. Moreau is on pace to finish with single-digit receptions for the first time since 2020, and he won't have any fantasy value unless Johnson misses time over the final three regular-season games. New Orleans will next play versus the Jets on Sunday, Dec. 21.

Saints' Foster Moreau: Catches one pass Week 14
Foster Moreau caught his only target for 16 yards during Sunday's 24-20 win versus the Buccaneers.Moreau split snaps with TE1 Juwan Johnson, but he played an ancillary role once again, as he was one of four New Orleans Saints receivers who logged either one of two targets behind top pass catchers Devaughn Vele (five), Chris Olave (five) and Johnson (four). His opportunities were even more limited than usual, with quarterback Tyler Shough logging a season-low 20 passing attempts. Barring injuries to one of New Orleans' top receivers, Moreau still won't have any fantasy relevance moving forward. The team will next play Week 15 against Carolina on Sunday.

Saints' Foster Moreau: Logs three targets Week 10
Foster Moreau caught two of three targets for 16 yards during Sunday's 17-7 victory against the Panthers.Moreau more than doubled his targets this season, and he now has three catches on five targets across six games this season. New Orleans had to disperse the targets that previously went to WR2 Rashid Shaheed, who was traded away Tuesday. Moreau finished tied with running backs Alvin Kamara and Devin Neal and wideout Devaughn Vele for the team's third-most targets. TE1 Juwan Johnson logged the team's second-most targets (four). Over the previous two years, Moreau accrued 53 catches for 606 yards and six touchdowns across 32 regular-season games. He'll likely continue to max out around three to four targets per game moving forward, which wouldn't make him a worthwhile streaming option for fantasy managers.

Saints' Foster Moreau: Zero catches in 2025 debut
Foster Moreau tallied zero targets during Sunday's 26-14 win versus the Giants.Moreau eased his way back during his first game off the PUP list. The 28-year-old played a lower percentage of offensive snaps (35) than the team's other two tight ends, Juwan Johnson (85) and Jack Stoll (38). Meanwhile, Taysom Hill served almost exclusively as a rushing option in what was also his first game of the season. Moreau wasn't a significant part of the passing game over the last two years in New Orleans, but he played more offensive snaps (711) than TE1 Johnson (653) over 17 regular-season games in 2024. He should eventually ramp back up to become the clear-cut TE2, but his fantasy value will be minimal except for the deepest of PPR leagues. His next opportunity to crack the stat sheet comes Sunday against the Patriots.

Saints' Foster Moreau: Making season debut Sunday
Foster Moreau (knee) is listed as active Sunday versus the New Orleans Saints.Moreau thus has been cleared for his first game action since Week 18 of last season, when he suffered a knee injury that required surgery and a stint on the reserve/PUP list Weeks 1-4 of the current campaign. Fellow TE Taysom Hill (knee) is back in the lineup as well, meaning Moreau may be the Saints' third option at the position, at best, behind Juwan Johnson (ankle) and Hill on Sunday. Moreau is coming off a 32-413-5 line on 43 targets in 17 regular-season games in 2024.

Saints' Foster Moreau: Off PUP list, still questionable
The New Orleans Saints activated Foster Moreau (knee) from the reserve/PUP list Saturday, but he remains questionable for Sunday's contest against the Giants. The same can be said for fellow TE Taysom Hill (knee), giving both players a chance to make their season debuts Week 5. Moreau himself has been in recovery mode since suffering a knee injury in Week 18 of last season that required surgery and a stint on the PUP list to begin the current campaign. With all of Juwan Johnson (ankle), Hill and Moreau questionable for Sunday's game, the latter's workload is to be determined, assuming he's active.

Saints' Foster Moreau: Taking questionable tag into Week 5
The New Orleans Saints list Foster Moreau (knee) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports. After being designated for return from the PUP list earlier this week, Moreau took part in his first practices since undergoing surgery in the offseason to address a knee injury. He was a limited participant Wednesday though Friday, and though Moreau will carry a questionable tag into the weekend, the Saints may want him to turn in a full practice before bringing him back from the PUP list. In addition to Moreau, the Saints list fellow tight ends Juwan Johnson (ankle) and Taysom Hill (knee) as questionable for Week 5, leaving the position group in a state of flux as Sunday's contest approaches.

Saints' Foster Moreau: Puts in limited practice
Foster Moreau (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.Moreau missed the New Orleans Saints' first four games of the season and remains on the PUP list while continuing his recovery from January knee surgery, but he could be on the cusp of making his 2025 debut. The Saints opened his 21-day evaluation window Wednesday, and he's now turned in a pair of limited practices to begin Week 5 prep. Given the length of his absence, the tight end may need to upgrade to full participation Friday to have a realistic chance at being activated ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants.

Saints' Foster Moreau: Logs limited practice activity
Foster Moreau (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.Moreau and Taysom Hill (knee) both logged limited practice activity Wednesday after having had their 21-day practice windows opened. Meanwhile, starting tight end Juwan Johnson (foot) was unable to practice to open Week 5. Moreau opened the regular season on the reserve/PUP list and is now in the last stages of his recovery from knee surgery undergone in early January. If Johnson is at risk of missing any time due to injury, Moreau could be positioned to step into a notable role on offense once fully cleared to retake the field.
