Tommy Kraemer (back) worked out for the Giants on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.Kraemer missed all of last season after being placed on injured reserve by the Lions with a back injury following Week 1. It appears the Notre Dame product is back to full strength and looking for another NFL opportunity, but he remains a free agent after a workout with the Giants.

Tommy Kraemer (back) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.Kraemer missed Week 1 with the injury, and he'll now miss at least the next four weeks with his move to IR. With Halapoulivaati Vaitai also nursing a back injury, the Detroit Lions' depth at right guard has taken a hit to begin the season. Logan Stenberg will likely draw the start at the position once again in Week 2, and Detroit also signed Kayode Awosika from the Eagles' practice squad to add depth on the offensive line.
