Jaguars' Tim Tebow: Officially signs with Jags
The Jacksonville Jaguars officially signed Tim Tebow to a one-year contract Thursday, Ben Volin of The Boston Globe reports.Tebow, who will be 34 years old by the time Week 1 kicks off, is officially a member of the Jaguars' offseason roster. The ex-quarterback has converted to tight end, and while Jacksonville is in need of more talent at that position, it's unclear how much opportunity Tebow will realistically be able to compete for. Tim Tebow: Works out for Jags
Tim Tebow recently reached out to the Jaguars and requested a tryout at tight end, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. It isn't clear if Tebow got a full tryout, but he did at least work out with Jaguars TEs coach Tyler Bowen. The former quarterback and minor league baseball player is obviously a great athlete, but learning to play tight end in the NFL as a 33/34-year-old sounds far-fetched.

Eagles coach Chip Kelly: Tim Tebow not just a camp arm
Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly thinks Tim Tebow could eventually develop into a quarterback and isn't just a camp arm, as Mark Sanchez said last month, according to NFL.com. Tebow was signed in April as the fourth quarterback on the roster after the team traded for Sam Bradford and re-signed Sanchez. "No, I think everybody here that we bring to our organization is here to compete for a job," Kelly said. "That's what Timmy is going to do. He's an unbelievable competitor. ... If we were just going to have guys throw drills, we'd take (Mike) Mayock in the offseason and bring him down here and let him throw to them." Tebow hasn't played in the league since 2012.
