Commanders' Treylon Burks: Leads team in targets in Week 16 loss
Treylon Burks tallied two catches on five targets for 30 yards Saturday in a loss to the Eagles.Burks (45 offensive snaps), Terry McLaurin (45) and Deebo Samuel (44) logged nearly equal workloads, and Burks actually led the Washington Commanders in targets. However, he finished third among the trio in yardage, with most of his production coming on a 24-yard catch on the first play of the third quarter. Of note, starting QB Marcus Mariota -- who was filling in for Jayden Daniels (elbow), who is out for the season -- didn't finish Saturday's contest after suffering a hand injury in the second half, and Josh Johnson had to take over following Mariota's departure. Washington's offense would likely be in Johnson's hands if Mariota has to miss additional time, which would figure to dampen the outlook of the team's passing game as a whole.

Commanders' Treylon Burks: Blanks in Week 15
Treylon Burks didn't catch either of his two targets in Sunday's 29-21 win over the Giants. The 2022 first-round pick from Arkansas has now gone without a catch in each of the Washington Commanders' last two games. Since joining the active roster before the Week 9 loss to the Seahawks, Burks has caught five of 11 targets for 77 yards and a touchdown. He's expected to remain a depth option in Washington's wide-receiver corps in the Week 16 matchup against the Eagles.

Commanders' Treylon Burks: Catchless in Minnesota

Commanders' Treylon Burks: Spectacular TD grab in loss
Treylon Burks caught one of four targets for a five-yard touchdown in Sunday night's 27-26 overtime loss to the Broncos. With Terry McLaurin not playing full snaps in his return from a quadriceps injury, Burks played 66 percent of the Washington Commanders' offensive snaps against Denver, even though he was also returning from a broken finger. Burks' four targets were still a distant fourth on the team, but he made his lone catch count with a spectacular one-handed touchdown grab in the corner of the end zone. It was Burks' first touchdown catch since Week 13 of his 2022 rookie season with the Titans. With McLaurin and Deebo Samuel healthy, Burks carries minimal fantasy value.

Commanders' Treylon Burks: Clear for Sunday
Treylon Burks (finger) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest against the Broncos.Burks sat out the Washington Commanders' last game Week 11 due to a finger injury that required surgery, but with the benefit of a Week 12 bye, he followed up back-to-back limited practices to open Week 13 prep with a full session Friday, setting him up to suit up this weekend. Commanders' Treylon Burks: Limited again Thursday
Treylon Burks (finger) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.Burks' finger injury prevented him from suiting up Week 11, and he's still managing the issue coming out of Washington's bye. He may have to log full practice reps Friday in order to avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Broncos. Wideouts Terry McLaurin (quad) and Noah Brown (knee, IR) have both also retaken the practice field for Washington, meaning Burks could find himself relegated to a depth role even if he's able to return Week 13.

Commanders' Treylon Burks: Won't play Week 11 with injury
Treylon Burks has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins due to a finger injury.Burks was signed to the Washington Commanders' active roster this past Tuesday and made an impact during Sunday's 44-22 loss to the Lions, when he led Washington with 58 receiving yards on three catches. However, the 2022 first-rounder came out of that contest with a finger injury, which was severe enough for him to undergo surgery Monday, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. Burks will miss Sunday's game in Spain, but the finger injury isn't considered a long-term issue, meaning he could be cleared to return following the Commanders' Week 12 bye.

Commanders' Treylon Burks: Makes impact in loss to Lions
Treylon Burks secured all three of his targets for 58 yards during Sunday's 44-22 loss to Detroit.Burks led Washington in terms of receiving yards against Detroit with Marcus Mariota under center and Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) sidelined, though he was outpaced by both Deebo Samuel and tight end Zach Ertz in terms of targets. As Burks was signed to the active roster in advance of Sunday's contest, he'll get another chance to contribute on offense as the Washington Commanders travel to Madrid in Week 11 to take on the Dolphins. If McLaurin is unavailable again versus Miami, Burks could be considered as an emergency pivot option at wide receiver in deeper fantasy formats.
