Falcons' Dwight Freeney: Wants to keep playing
Dwight Freeney intends to continue playing going into the 2017 season, USA Today's Tom Pelissero reports.Freeney, who is likely destined for the Hall of Fame once he retires, ended his 15th season with four sacks over the Atlanta Falcons' final eight total games, including one in their Super Bowl collapse. That followed Freeney posting eight sacks during the 2015 regular season, proving he's still impactful in a situational pass-rushing role. Set to be a free agent at 37 years old, Freeney is clearly not an every-down option, but his pedigree off the edge should still garner interest on the open market.
