Giants' Josh Brown: Drills three field goals versus Packers
Josh Brown converted three field-goal attempts and his only PAT during the New York Giants' Week 5 loss to the Packers on Sunday.Since coming off suspension, Brown has attempted multiple field goals in all but one game this season, nailing nine kicks in total. While he's yet to attempt any from longer than 50 yards, he has nailed four from 40-plus, with his longest coming from 48 yards out. As long as he remains the leg of the Giants' up-tempo offense, Brown will possess a high fantasy floor at an inconsistent kicker position.

Giants' Josh Brown: Allegations of repeated abuse
While Josh Brown has been suspended only one game for a 2015 domestic violence charge that was subsequently dropped, the Daily News reported his ex-wife told police he had been violent with her more than 20 times. While this report only addresses her statement to the police and does not tell Brown's side of the story, that it came after his suspension opens a new can of worms for him and the New York Giants, and you have to wonder whether they'll decide to take further action internally or even release him. They signed Brown to a two-year, $4 million in April after knowing about his 2015 arrest, but perhaps they didn't know about his wife's more detailed report to the police. Given how fungible kickers are in fantasy, and that Brown's already out one game, we'd recommend looking elsewhere at the position.
