Falcons' Osi Umenyiora has no plans to retire
With Atlanta Falcons defensive lineman Osi Umenyiora set to become a free agent March 10, he said he plans to play in 2015, reports ESPN. "Zero plans to retire at this moment," Umenyiora said. "I feel like I can still play, No. 1. The way things ended last year, I'm just not going to end my career like that. That's not going to happen." The 2015 season will be Umenyiora's 12th season in the NFL and he said he can still contribute if he lands with the right team. "I feel like when put in the right situation and given the opportunity to play, I would still be able to help somebody. I want to end the way it's supposed to end," he said. Umenyiora added he expects to be back with the Falcons in 2015 and wants to play at least one more year. "I think I did the right things when I was there, especially last year," he said. "I did and said all the right things and I'm in great shape. Whether or not they decide to re-sign me, that's another story. But do I expect them to look into it? I would think so."

Former teammate urging Justin Tuck to stay with Giants
Osi Umenyiora does not believe former New York Giants teammate and fellow defensive end Justin Tuck should follow his path out of town. Umenyiora bolted for Atlanta in free agency last year, but has urged Tuck to stay with his current team. "I've talked to Justin and I told him he should try whatever he can to stay in New York," Umenyiora said via The Star-Ledger. "Because he is New York." Tuck will likely talk money with the Giants soon, but seems destined for free agency. His stock rose when he piled up 8 1/2 sacks in the last five games this season.
