Tackle Corey Hilliard to meet with Jets
Free agent tackle Corey Hilliard is expected to meet with the New York Jets, per Pro Football Talk.Hilliard has played eight seasons in the NFL, the last six with the Lions. Hilliard missed most of 2014 with a foot injury suffered during the season opener.If the Jets sign Hilliard it's expected he'll serve as a swing tackle behind D'Brickashaw Ferguson and Breno Giacomini.

D'Brickashaw Ferguson needs bounceback year
New York Jets left tackle D'Brickashaw Ferguson did not look like himself last year, allowing eight sacks and 51 quarterback hurries, according to the New York Post. The paper expects Ferguson, 30, who has never missed a snap in the NFL, to bounce back. Ferguson has the highest salary cap figure on the team at $11.7 million.

Jets lose two to late ejections
The New York Jets had two players ejected towards the end of Thursday's game against the Patriots, for their involvement in a scuffle. With less than a minute remaining, offensive linemen Willie Colon and D'Brickashaw Ferguson were tossed for their part in a fight near the Patriots' sideline.
