Titans receiving corps still being sorted out

You probably expected wide receiver Nate Washington to step up for the Tennessee Titans with Kendall Wright sidelined by a cracked bone in his hand Week 14 against the Giants. After all, he's the one who upped his game when Justin Hunter went down in Week 13, catching five passes for 61 yards and a touchdown. But while he was a factor in Week 14, catching three passes (on three targets) for 56 yards, he wasn't the team's most productive wide receiver. No, that honor went to Derek Hagan, who caught six passes (on seven targets) for 62 yards. He entered the game with only seven catches all season. Of course, five of those looks came in the second half, when the Titans were already well out of it, and three came with backup quarterback Jake Locker, who replaced starter Zach Mettenberger in the rout. Wright could certainly return for Week 15 against the Jets -- he was questionable for Week 14 as it is -- and considering Washington was involved in the passing game even before Wright went down, he would be more likely to remain a factor with Wright back. It all adds up to Hagan not being such an advisable pickup in Fantasy. Still a lot of variables at play here, and on a Titans offense still searching for its identity, he probably wouldn't be all that productive even if they all went in his favor.
