    Ravens LB C.J. Mosley hurt his ankle in loss to Raiders

    Baltimore Ravens linebacker C.J. Mosley injured his ankle during Sunday's loss to the Raiders, the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec reports. Mosley didn't appear to miss much of the game, and he finished with a team-high nine tackles (eight solo). If he isn't ready for Week 3, the Ravens will have Arthur Brown, Zachary Orr and Albert McClellan as options to start alongside Daryl Smith.

    Agent: DT C.J. Mosley joining Dolphins

    Veteran defensive tackle C.J. Mosley has decided to take his talents to South Beach, agent Harold Lewis has told the Miami Herald. Mosley has signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins after also considering returning to the Lions, with whom he started eight of the 15 games in which he played a year ago, He contributed to 26 tackles and added 2 1/2 sacks. The Dolphins will be his sixth team since he entered the NFL in 2005.

    Report: Lions' free agent C.J. Mosley visiting unknown team

    Free agent defensive tackle C.J. Mosley visited an unknown team on Monday, according to a report by the Detroit Free Press. Mosley had 2.5 sacks for the Detroit Lions last season, but the team let him explore the market, after he was suspended for marijuana use last season.  The Lions have also spoken to Mosley about a return to the team in recent weeks.

    Marijuana suspension a factor in Lions parting with C.J. Mosley

    Unsigned Detroit Lions defensive tackle C.J. Mosley was sent home from the team's game in London last season after he was found with marijuana in his hotel room.  The incident is one of the factors the team is taking into consideration in their decision on whether to re-sign Mosley.  "We take everything into consideration -- I mean, everything," coach Jim Caldwell said, when asked about the incident being a factor, per MLive. "You know how it is in our business. We put everything under the microscope. We take a look at it, and we make a determination on each and every individual according to what he brings to the table -- positive or negative." The team has not pursued Mosley since he became a free agent in February, and the Lions appear to be prepared to move on without him.

    Lions unveil final injury report for Chicago game

    The Detroit Lions ruled defensive tackle Nick Fairley (knee) out and cornerback Mohammed Seisay (hamstring) questionable for Sunday's contest against the Bears. Meanwhile, safety Don Carey (ankle), wide receiver Calvin Johnson (ankle), defensive end George Johnson (illness), defensive tackle C.J.     Lions reinstate defensive lineman C.J. Mosley

    Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell announced Monday defensive tackle C.J. Mosley has been reinstated following a two-week suspension. Although, Caldwell refused to comment on the ESPN report citing Mosley's suspension stemmed from an incident involving marijuana while the team was in London a few weeks ago. Caldwell said Mosley's situation was an internal matter. Caldwell isn't sure if Mosley will face further action from the league, calling it an NFL and NFLPA issue.

    The two-week suspension the Detroit Lions slapped on defensive tackle C.J. Mosley was for marijuana-related issues, according ESPN, which reported through sources that the smoke from his pot set off a hotel alarm. Mosley will not be eligible to play until next Sunday against Miami.
