Report: Texans inquire about bringing back C Chris Myers
The Houston Texans approached center Chris Myers about returning to the organization in 2015, according to the Houston Chronicle. The Texans released Myers in March. Myers spent the past seven seasons with the Texans and never missed one game for the organization.

Report: OL Chris Myers visiting Seahawks
Free-agent offensive lineman Chris Myers is visiting the Seattle Seahawks Monday, ESPN reports. Myers graded out positively in 2014, ranking 16th out of 41 centers, per Pro Football Focus. He has started every game in each of the last seven seasons for the Texans and could be an option to fill the team's hole at center after Max Unger was traded to New Orleans earlier in March.

Reports: Texans release OL Chris Myers
The Houston Texans released offensive lineman Chris Myers Wednesday, according to multiple reports. The team will save $6 million due to his release, according to spotrac.com. The two-time Pro Bowler, who spent seven seasons with the Texans, was voted first-team All-Pro in 2011 by Pro Football Focus.

Jadeveon Clowney questionable on Texans Week 7 injury report
Houston Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (knee) is listed as questionable to play in Monday's Week 7 battle with the Steelers after limited in practice for a second straight day Saturday. Clowney hasn't played since Week 1 while recovering from knee surgery. Linebacker Mike Mohamed (calf) is also questionable to play afer being limited all week. Cornerback Darryl Morris (anke) has been ruled out. The Texans have a whopping 12 players listed as probable to play Monday, including running back Arian Foster (groin), wide receivers Andre Johnson (ankle) and DeAndre Hopkins (hand), guard Brandon Brooks (illness), center Chris Myers (not injury related), offensive tackle Derek Newton (elbow), defensive ends J.J. Watt (thigh) and Tim Jamison (groin), cornerback Johnathan Joseph (knee) and linebackers Brian Cushing (knee), Brooks Reed (groin) and Jeff Tarpinian (knee).

Texans list a number of players probable
The Houston Texans have listed nine players as probable Week 5. Duane Brown, Brian Cushing, Akeem Dent, Damaris Johnson, Ben Jones, Johnathan Joseph, Shane Lechler, Chris Myers and D.J. Swearinger should all be able to go during the contest. Defensive end Tim Jamison comes into the game listed as questionable. He's dealing with a groin injury and was limited in practice Friday.

The Houston Texans have listed 10 players as probable Week 2 against the Raiders. Tight end Garrett Graham WR Andre Johnson, CB Johnathan Joseph, CB A.J. Bouye, OL Tyson Clabo, LB Brian Cushing, RB Arian Foster, DE Tim Jamison, CB Elbert Mack, LB Mike Mohamed, OL Chris Myers, OL Derek Newton, FB Jay Prosch, OL Xaier Su'a-Filo, DE J.J. Watt and DT Louis Nix II are all probable heading into the game. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney was the only player ruled out for Week 2.

Houston Texans cornerback A.J. Bouye (shoulder), tackle Tyson Clabo (ankle), linebacker Brian Cushing (ankle), defensive end Tim Jamison (groin), cornerback Johnathan Joseph (foot), linebacker Mike Mohamed (quadricep), center Chris Myers (toe), running back Jay Prosch (hand), guard Xavier Su'a-Filo (back) and linebacker Justin Tuggle (knee) were all cleared to play Week 1 vs. Washington. They were all listed as probable on the injury report.

Only five of 17 among injured Texans are on offense
Despite having 17 players on their injured list, the Houston Texans are quite healthy heading into their TNF game against Jacksonville. Fullback Greg Jones, who is questionable with a knee ailment, is the only one who is not probable. The other offensive probables are offensive linemen Derek Newton (knee), Wade Smith (knee) and Chris Myers (elbow) and running back Ben Tate (ribs/ankle).
