    Report: Bears interested in C Samson Satele

    The Chicago Bears have expressed interest in signing free-agent center Samson Satele, the Chicago Tribune reports. Satele has started 114 games during his eight year career, including all 16 games with the Dolphins in 2014. He rated 32nd out of 35 centers, per Pro Football Focus, struggling in particular against the run.

    Dolphins unveil injury report for Baltimore game

    The Miami Dolphins have labeled linebacker Jonathan Freeny (hamstring) and cornerback Jamar Taylor (shoulder) out for Sunday's pivotal game against Baltimore. Guard Nate Garner (illness), cornerback Cortland Finnegan (ankle) and linebacker Chris McCain (ankle) were deemed doubtful for Week 14. Tight end Charles Clay (hamstring, knee) was the only player on the report deemed questionable. He was a limited participant all week leading up to Sunday. Meanwhile, the following players were labeled as probable: Wide receiver Brian Hartline (knee), tackle Ja'Wuan James (neck), linebacker Jelani Jenkins (shoulder), center Samson Satele (ribs), wide receiver Mike Wallace (chest) and safety Jimmy Wilson (hamstring).

    The Miami Dolphins listed a variety of players on its final Week 13 injury report, but onlyJonathan Freeny (hamstring) and Jamar Taylor (shoulder) have been declared out for Monday’s game at the New York Jets. Tight end Charles Clay (hamstring/knee), cornerback Cortland Finnegan (ankle) and offensive lineman Nate Garner (illness) are listed as doubtful. Offensive lineman Ja'Wuan James (neck) was the one player listed as questionable and Daryn Colledge, Rishard Matthews, Lamar Miller, Samson Satele and Mike Wallace are probable for Week 13.

    The Miami Dolphins enter Week 8 at Jacksonville relatively healthy despite having 14 players on the final injury report for Sunday's game. Jimmy Wilson (hamstring) was the only player that was unable to practice all week. He's been ruled doubtful for the game. Samson Satele (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice all week and was labeled questionable. Meanwhile, Branden Albert (elbow), Charles Clay (knee), John Denney (knee), Cortland Finnegan (neck), Brandon Gibson (hamstring), Brian Hartline (finger), Lamar Miller (knee), Koa Misi (ankle), Shelley Smith (knee), Ryan Tannehill (ankle), Dallas Thomas (shoulder) and Philip Wheeler (shoulder, thumb) were all deemed probable.

    The Miami Dolphins are in fine shape for their Week 7 game at Chicago. Nearly all the players on their Friday injury report are probable. The exceptions are wide receiver Brandon Gibson (hamstring), who is doubtful, and cornerback Cortland Finnegan (neck) and guard Shelley Smith (knee), who are questionable. The offensive probables are tackle Branden Albert (shoulder), tight end Charles Clay (knee), running back Lamar Miller (foot), center Samson Satele (fibula) and wideout Mike Wallace (foot). The defensive probables are linebackers Jelani Jenkins (abdomen), Koa Misi (ankle) and Philip Wheeler (shoulder) and tackles Anthony Johnson (shoulder) and Randy Starks (back).

    Dolphins' Mike Pouncey expected to play guard vs. Green Bay

    The Miami Dolphins are expected to use Mike Pouncey as their starting guard and keep Samson Satele, according to the NFL Network. Pouncey, who is coming back from a hip injury, played guard as a sophomore and junior at the University of Florida, but has not played the position in the NFL.

    Dolphins issue final injury report for Week 6

    The Miami Dolphins have issued their final injury report for Week 6 against the Packers. The team has listed a number of players as probable. Lineman Samson Satele, DT Randy Starks, LB Koa Misi, LB Jelani Jenkins, LB Philip Wheeler, LT Branden Albert and G Dallas Thomas should all be able to play during the contest.

    Samson Satele, Branden Albert exit with injuries

    Miami Dolphins center Samson Satele and left tackle Branden Albert both went down with injuries in the fourth quarter of Week 4 against the Raiders. Albert left the game with a shoulder injury, while Satele exited with a leg injury. Both players were ruled questionable to return, but never did. The Dolphins have a bye next week before hosting the Packers in Week 6.

    Dolphins sign Samson Satele

    The Miami Dolphins signed center Samson Satele, who started 13 games last year for the Colts. Miami is scrambling at center with starter Mike Pouncey recovering from hip surgery. According to NFL.com, quarterback-center exchanges "have been a disaster early in camp."
