    The Arizona Cardinals announced they released center Lyle Sendlein, who started 109 games in eight years with Arizona, including every game last season. Sendlein, 30, had been scheduled to make $3 million in 2015.

    Cardinals list Drew Stanton as out, two as questionable against Panthers

    The Arizona Cardinals have released their final injury report in preparation for their wild card matchup against the Panthers Saturday. Among those listed, quarterback Drew Stanton is out after not being able to practice all week. Coach Bruce Arians said earlier in the week if Stanton was able to practice for one of the three days, he would have been the starter.  Others on the injury report include Jonathan Cooper (wrist/knee) and Dan Williams (foot) as questionable. Calais Campbell (hip), Larry Foote (knee), Tyrann Mathieu (thumb/hip), Frostee Rucker (ankle) and Lyle Sendlein (back) are considered probable.

    Carson Palmer among notable players listed questionable for Week 3

    The Arizona Cardinals have nine players listed on the injury report for Week 3. Punter David Zastudil (groin) and linebacker Alex Okafor (thigh) were the only players officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers.Deemed questionable were tight end Rob Housler (hip), defensive tackle Frostee Rucker (calf) and quarterback Carson Palmer (shoulder). Linebacker Kevin Minter (quad), center Lyle Sendlein (ankle), running back Andre Ellington (foot) and linebacker Larry Foote (shoulder) were each ruled probable for Sunday.

    Arizona Cardinals center Lyle Sendlein left practice Monday due to a calf injury, NFL.com reports. There has been no indication as to how serious the injury is. Sendlein has started all but five games for the Cardinals over the last six seasons.
