Titans LB Kamerion Wimbley announces retirement
After nine seasons, Tennessee Titans linebacker Kamerion Wimbley announced his retirement Thursday, saying on Twitter that, "I'd like to thank the National Football League for giving me the opportunity to play the game that I love." Wimbley spent the last three seasons with the Titans, playing in 45 games and recording 73 tackles and 11 sacks. He played four years with the Cleveland Browns after being drafted out of Florida State and two more with the Raiders. Wimbley finishes his career with 53.5 sacks, with a career-high of 11 in his rookie season.

Injured Titans cleared to face Colts
Several Tennessee Titans who were on the injury report are active for the game against Indianapolis. The list includes linebacker Zaviar Gooden (hamstring), nose tackle Sammie Lee Hill (foot), offensive tackle Byron Stingily (ankle) and linebacker Kamerion Wimbley (hamstring).

Zaviar Gooden only probable on Titans' Week 17 injury report
Tennessee Titans linebacker Zaviar Gooden (hamstring) was the only player on Tennessee's final injury report listed as probable for Sunday's season finale against the Colts. Defensive tackle Sammie Lee Hill (foot), tackle Terren Jones (concussion) tackle Byron Stingily (ankle), linebacker Kamerion Wimbley (hamstring), tackle Taylor Lewan (ankle) and quarterback Zach Mettenberger (shoulder) were labeled as questionable. According to the Tennessean, Lewan and Mettenberger aren't expected to play. Coach Ken Whisenhunt did not rule out the possibility of dressing Mettenberger as an emergency option.

Kendall Wright, Delanie Walker good to go for Titans
The Tennessee Titans will have both Kendall Wright and Delanie Walker Week 16 against the Jaguars. Both players came into the game listed as questionable. Wright is dealing with a hand injury. Walker has a knee issue. Both players will attempt to play through their injuries. The team will also have Byron Stingily and Kamerion Wimbley. Both Stingily and Wimbley were listed as questionable. Daimion Stafford, who came into the contest listed as probable, will also be available.

Titans set with injury report for Thursday game
The Tennessee Titans have ruled out running back Dexter McCluster (knee) for their Thursday night game against Jacksonville. Tackle Taylor Lewan (ankle) is listed as doubtful, but will likely be sidelined as well. Deemed questionable are wide receiver Kendall Wright (hand), tight end Delanie Walker (knee), tackle Byron Stingily (ankle) and linebackers Zaviar Gooden (hamstring) and Kamerion Wimbley (hamstring). Walker, however, has already declared himself ready to roll. The lone probable is safety Daimion Stafford (concussion), who has been cleared for practice.

Titans hoping LB Kamerion Wimbley returns Thursday
Tennessee Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt is hopeful linebacker Kamerion Wimbley will return for Thursday's game at Jacksonville, reports The Tennessean. Wimbley has missed three straight games with a hamstring injury. He has 30 tackles and two sacks in 11 games.

Wright cracked a bone in his hand against the Giants in Week 14 and is considering playing with a splint on his injured hand. The following players are also listed as questionable for Sunday: Michael Griffin, Daimion Stafford, Byron Stingily and Kamerion Wimbley. Tennessee also lists tackles Taylor Lewan and Michael Oher as doubtful and quarterback Zach Mettenberger as out.

Wimbley was the only players ruled out for the game, while defensive back Marqueston Huff (hamstring) and guard Chance Warmack (ankle) were the only players designated as probable. Meanwhile, offensive tackle Taylor Lewan (ankle), quarterback Zach Mettenberger (shoulder), tackle Michael Oher (toe), cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson (back) and wide receiver Kendall Wright (hand) were all deemed as questionable.
