Jets LB Quinton Coples has played himself to the bench
Poor production has basically pushed New York Jets outside linebacker Quinton Coples to the bench. The 2012 first-round pick barely played Thursday night against New England. He was replaced by Jason Babin. Coples hasn't recorded more than two tackles in a game and has just five on the season. The game against the Patriots marked his first non-start of 2014. His fate appeared set when Babin took more reps than him in Week 6 against Denver. Although Rex Ryan downplayed that, Coples' benching against New England spoke volumes about his thoughts.
