Chargers' Malcom Floyd: Suffers concussion in final game
Malcom Floyd suffered a concussion during Sunday's loss to the Broncos, Tom Krasovic of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. This was an unfortunate reminder of why Floyd decided that Sunday's game would be his last. He's still capable of contributing as a blocker and big-play threat, but his history of head and neck issues was already a major concern. It's unclear what San Diego's receiving corps will look like in 2015, as the only sure thing is that Keenan Allen (kidney) will be the No. 1 wideout. Stevie Johnson (groin) and Dontrelle Inman are also under contract, whereas tight ends Antonio Gates and Ladarius Green can both become unrestricted free agents. The San Diego Chargers may search for an external solution to replace Floyd in the No. 2 wideout role, as neither Johnson nor Inman was particularly impressive this season.

Chargers' Malcom Floyd: Catches one pass against Miami
Malcom Floyd was targeted three times, recording a 27-yard reception in Sunday's win over Miami.Since returning to the lineup four weeks ago, Floyd has totaled just six catches for 110 yards and no touchdowns. The mediocre production can't be attributed to a lack of playing time, he's been on the field for 259 out of 301 offensive plays over the past four weeks. Instead, it seems as though Floyd is phasing out of San Diego's offense. The veteran receiver has caught three or more passes just five times out of 13 games this season after tallying 14 such games in 2014.

Chargers' Malcom Floyd: 56 yards in loss
Malcom Floyd caught three passes on nine targets for 56 yards Sunday against the Chiefs.Floyd had a terrible drop on a long pass that could have gone for a touchdown, and while he slightly made up for it later on a 41-yard gain, it was another poor effort from the San Diego Chargers passing game. On the plus side, Floyd came into Sunday with three straight games under 20 yards, so while he broke that streak, he's now gone four straight without a touchdown.

Chargers' Malcom Floyd: Quiet in return to action
Malcom Floyd has one reception on four targets for 12 yards in Sunday's win at Jacksonville.Coming back from a serious shoulder injury, Floyd didn't do much in this game, but his presence probably helped get other guys open at least. It's not clear how much the shoulder actually bothered him in this game, but the Bolts face a tough Denver secondary next week, so you probably shouldn't expect a huge performance from Floyd in Week 13 either way.
