Andrew Gardner agreed to a one-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers on Wednesday.Gardner spent the summer with the Eagles but ultimately was released before the season opener. Fellow lineman Josh Allen was released in a corresponding move.

Reports: Eagles sign OG Andrew Gardner to contract extension
The Philadelphia Eagles reached a contract extension with offensive guard Andrew Gardner on Tuesday, reports NFL.com. The extension is for three years at $4.7 million and includes a $500,000 signing bonus. Gardner played in 16 games last season and started eight.
