Josh Cribbs has officially announced his retirement, Adam Caplan of ESPN reports.Cribbs hasn't played since 2014 but didn't officially hang up the cleats until now. He finishes his career with an NFL-record eight kick-return touchdowns, three punt-return touchdowns, and 11,113 kick return yards, which is good for third all-time.

The Indianapolis Colts wavied wide receiver Josh Cribbs on Friday, confirmed CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora. Cribbs was mainly used a return specialist on special teams. In six games, he caught one pass for eight yards last season.

Colts list T.Y. Hilton, Vontae Davis as questionable for Sunday
The Indianapolis Colts revealed wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) and cornerback Vontae Davis (groin) are being listed as questionable for Sunday’s game at Dallas. While Hilton was not able to practice at all this week, Davis was a limited participant in Thursday and Friday’s practice. The Colts ruled Gosder Cherilus (groin), Joe Reitz (ankle) and Hugh Thornton (knee) as out. While Josh Cribbs , Erik Walden and Reggie Wayne are listed as probable. The Colts are 3 1/2-point underdogs.

Indianapolis Colts tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle) and wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) are among the notable probables for Indianapolis heading into their Week 14 clash against Cleveland. Center Jonotthan Harrison (illness), defensive tackle Arthur Jones (illness), nose tackle Zach Kerr (illness), defensive end Cory Redding (knee) and outside linebacker Erik Walden (knee) were all listed as probable. Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Cribbs was able to practice with the team Friday, reports the Indianapolis Star. Cribbs is dealing with a knee issue which prevented him from practicing Thursday. The Colts will play at Cleveland Sunday.

Colts PR Cribbs: It 'ate me up' being unable to help Browns
Indianapolis Colts punt returner Josh Cribbs told the Cleveland media that he wanted to sign with the Cleveland Browns, but that they were not interested and that bothered him, per the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "It ate me up not being able to help," Cribbs said. The Browns have just 79 total yards in punt returns this season while Cribbs, who still makes his home in Cleveland, has thrived early in his time with Indianapolis. Cribbs added his hope that Browns fans will embrace him if he jumps into the stands after a potential touchdown.

With Ahmad Bradshaw officially on the injured reserve list, the Indianapolis Colts signed kick returner/wide receiver Josh Cribbs and waived outside linebacker Victor Butler on Tuesday, per the team's official website.
