49ers make a slew of roster moves Monday
The San Francisco 49ers waived 10 players on Monday. They were K Corey Acosta, LB Steve Beauharnais, CB Mylan Hicks, T Sean Hooey, WR Mario Hull, WR Chuck Jacobs, WR Nigel King, LB Shawn Lemon, FB Trey Millard and DL Lawrence Okoye. Additionally, the 49ers placed G/C Daniel Kilgore on the PUP list to start the season and WR DeAndre Smelter on the NFI list. The team also placed WR Dres Anderson and LB Desmond Bishop on injured reserve.

Report: 49ers to sign LB Desmond Bishop
The San Francisco 49ers will sign inside linebacker Desmond Bishop, the Sacramento Bee reports. Bishop joined the 49ers last December and recorded two tackles in two games. He emerged as a starter with the Packers in 2010 and racked up more than 100 tackles for two straight seasons before missing the 2012 season and becoming a free agent. He could win significant playing time in the 49ers' base set after the retirements of Patrick Willis and Chris Borland.

Report: LB Desmond Bishop will visit 49ers
Linebacker Desmond Bishop will visit the San Francisco 49ers on Monday, according to csnbayarea.com. Bishop played in two games for the 49ers last season after beginning the year with the Cardinals. After losing both Patrick Willis and Chris Borland to retirement, the team is looking for linebackers. Over his eight-year NFL career, the 30-year-old has 299 total tackles, nine sacks, nine passes defensed, one interception and eight forced fumbles.

Report: 49ers add LB Desmond Bishop
With linebacker Chris Borland dealing with a sprained ankle, the San Francisco 49ers signed veteran inside linebacker Desmond Bishop, reports CSNBayArea.com. Bishop was let go by the Cardinals a couple weeks ago.

The Arizona Cardinals have released veteran linebacker Desmond Bishop on Monday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Bishop appeared in four games last season for the Vikings and never appeared in a game this season for the Cardinals.

Cardinals list inactives for Week 13
The Arizona Cardinals have listed, WR Larry Fitzgerald, RB Michael Bush, LB Desmond Bishop, LB Kenny Demens, DT Alameda Ta'amu, DT Ed Stinson and TE Matthew Mulligan as inactive for Week 13 against the Falcons. Fitzgerald is dealing with a knee injury. He was unable to practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but put in limited work on Friday. Bush is still learning the system, and will not play this week. Demens and Stinson were ruled out prior to Sunday.

Cardinals list Week 12 inactives vs. Seahawks
The Arizona Cardinals have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Seahawks: wide Larry Fitzgerald (knee), defensive tackles Ed Stinson (toe) and Alameda Ta'amu, running back Kerwynn Williams, tight end Matthew Mulligan and linebackers Desmond Bishop and Glenn Carson. Fitzgerald's absence breaks a streak of 110 consecutive games played after he was listed as questionable. Stinson had previously been ruled out with his toe injury.

Cardinals enter Week 11 vs. Lions in pretty good shape
The Arizona Cardinals enter Week 11 against Detroit relatively healthy. Ed Stinson (toe) was the only player on Arizona's final report ruled out for Sunday. Desmond Bishop (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Thursday and Friday and was ruled questionable. Meanwhile, Lorenzo Alexander (knee), Deone Bucannon (quadriceps), Andre Ellington (foot, hip), Stepfan Taylor (calf) and Dan Williams (elbow) were all labeled probable.

The Arizona Cardinals have made Logan Thomas, Stepfan Taylor, Desmond Bishop, Thomas Keiser, Glenn Carson, Alameda Ta'amu and Darren Fells inactive Week 10 against the Rams. Both Taylor and Bishop had been ruled out prior to Sunday. The other five players listed did not appear on the injury report, and are considered healthy scratches.
