Bears' Tony Moeaki: Injures hamstring
Tony Moeaki suffered a left hamstring injury during Thursday's preseason game against the Patriots, WGN Radio's Adam Hoge reports. The hamstring issue marred an otherwise solid night for the oft-injured Moeaki, who caught four passes for 28 yards on five targets while filling in for Zach Miller (concussion). Assuming the injury isn't too serious, Moeaki seems to be ahead of Khari Lee in the battle for the No. 2 tight end job.

Bears' Tony Moeaki: Signs with Bears
Tony Moeaki was signed by the Chicago Bears on Thursday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.Moeaki spent the latter portion of the 2015 season as a member of the Falcons, but never saw much action as he recorded just three catches for 58 yards and a touchdown on five targets throughout 11 games. Falcons' Tony Moeaki: Catches touchdown pass in loss
Tony Moeaki saved his best game for the final game of the season, catching two balls for 47 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Saints.Heading into the game, Moeaki had only caught one ball for 11 yards in 11 games with the Atlanta Falcons. He was signed after Jacob Tamme suffered a concussion, but Tamme returned to the lineup and Moaeki was basically used as a blocker when he saw game action. He'll be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and he may look for a new home as Tamme is still under contract for another year.
