Titans RB Shonn Greene absent from OTAs
Tennessee Titans running back Shonn Greene did not attend Tuesday's OTA practice, according to The Tennessean. "Obviously we'd like to have him here," Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt said. "But he's a veteran. He knows how to get himself prepared." Greene told the Titans, Whisenhunt said, that he's unable to attend at the moment because he is the caretaker of a child. Greene ran for 392 yards and two touchdowns during the 2014 season.

Report: Titans' Greene pleads guilty to parking, driving offenses
Tennessee Titans running back Shonn Greene pleaded guilty to lesser charges in relation to a driving-related arrest last October, according to The Tennessean. The report states Greene "plead guilty to failure to exercise due care and to parking in a handicap spot." As a result, Greene was ordered to pay a $655 fine. Charges that Greene was driving on a suspended license and resisting arrest were dropped. Authorities claimed Greene fled from officers twice — once when parking enforcement officer approached him to write a ticket for parking in a handicap spot and when police neared him in traffic for fleeing. Eventually, Greene turned himself into police for his role in the incident. Greene finished his second season with the Titans in 2014. He ran for 392 yards and two touchdowns.

Shonn Greene leads Titans' backfield Week 17
After often playing second fiddle to rookie Bishop Sankey this season, Tennessee Titans running back Shonn Greene operated as the feature back in the Week 17 loss to the Colts. Green ran 11 times for a season-high 94 yards, including a 52-yard gain in which he trucked Colts safety Mike Adams. Sankey rushed four times for 18 yards and was targeted once without a catch. Sankey finishes the year with just 569 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Greene is signed for one more year, while Sankey is under contract through 2017.

Titans RB Shonn Greene receives seven carries Week 16
Tennessee Titans running back Shonn Greene carried the ball just seven times Week 16 against the Jaguars. Greene took a backseat to Bishop Sankey during the contest, though neither did all that much on the ground. Greene gained 28 yards, good for a 4.0 yards per carry average. Greene was not involved in the passing game, and did not receive a target. He'll look for more Week 17 against the Colts.

Ken Whisenhunt says Shonn Greene (3.1 ypc) had 'hot hand'
Tennessee Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt said he gave running back Shonn Greene a season-high 16 carries in Sunday's loss to the Jets because he was "going with the hot hand," reports The Tennessean. It was a strange statement considering Greene averaged 3.1 yards per carry and had a long gainer of 8 yards. Rookie Bishop Sankey, who had received double-digit touches in the previous eight games, got four touches against the Jets. He carried three times for 8 yards and caught an 18-yard pass. The Titans visit Jacksonville on Thursday.

Shonn Greene just bad news for Bishop Sankey
One week after he was inactive, much to his dismay, running back Shonn Greene became the Tennessee Titans' leading rusher Week 15 against the Jets, gaining 50 yards on a season-high 16 carries. He hadn't even gotten 10 carries in a game since Week 5, averaging 3.2 in five games since. Of course, it doesn't really change anything in Fantasy. Greene is averaging just 3.6 yards per carry on the season and is in no way a receiving threat. Plus, he's not going to replace rookie Bishop Sankey outright. All his resurgence means is that you can quit holding out hope for Sankey to blow up one of these weeks, which is probably for the best. I mean, how many games have you lost because of him? Enough that you're probably not in your league's championship game, so who am I even talking to?

Titans' Shonn Greene rushes for 50 yards in loss
While playing against his former team, Tennessee Titans running back Shonn Greene received a team-high 16 rushing attempts for 50 yards in a 16-11 loss to the Jets. The 50 rushing yards were the most Greene has rushed for since the season opener when he rushed for 71 yards. The 16 attempts were a season high. Greene did catch his only receiving target for 13 yards. It was the second consecutive game Greene failed to reach the end zone. The Titans will play at Jacksonville Thursday.

Titans' Shonn Greene unsure why he was benched in Week 14
Tennessee Titans running back Shonn Greene is looking for answers as to why he was benched in Tennessee's loss to the Giants in Week 14. "Your guess is as good as mine," Greene said. "I have no idea. Nobody knows. I just do whatever they ask and go out and practice. (Playing) is something I can't control." Greene had just 16 carries for 30 yards in the last five games and did not see a touch against the Giants. The Titans take on the Jets in Week 15.

Titans get contributions in Week 13 loss
Several Tennessee Titans contributed offensively Week 13 at Houston. Among them, wideout Derek Hagan caught two passes for 39 yards and running back Leon Washington had an 8-yard grab. Running back Shonn Greene carried twice for no gain. They'll all face the Giants in Week 14.
