TE Jermichael Finley retires from NFL

Tight end Jermichael Finley, who has not played since Oct. 20, 2013, when he suffered a bruised spinal cord, has retired from professional football, per ESPN.com.Though he was reportedly to resume football activities last year, he did not catch on with a team and he'll finish his NFL career with 223 catches for 2,785 yards and 20 touchdowns in 70 games, all with the Green Bay Packers.
