Broncos' Wil Lutz: Still limited at practice Thursday

Lutz (hip) was a limited participant at practice Thursday.

Lutz seems to be in danger of missing his first game this season as he nurses a hip injury, the details of which are unknown at this point. If he can't practice in full Friday, he'll likely end up carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

  • Blake Grupe K | IND

Saints' Blake Grupe: Remains limited Thursday

Grupe (groin) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Brooke Kirchhofer of NewOrleans.Football reports.

While Grupe has had practice restrictions so far this week due to a right groin injury, special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi told Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com on Thursday that he believes the kicker will be available Sunday versus the Lions. Still, Grupe may enter the weekend with a designation for that contest, which will become known when the Saints post their final Week 13 practice report Friday.

Broncos' Wil Lutz: Limited at practice

Lutz was a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to a hip injury, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Lutz's ability to log a limited session Wednesday suggests his hip issue is a minor concern, but those depending on him for Week 13 fantasy lineups will still want to track his activity during practices Thursday and Friday. The Broncos have no other kickers on their 53-man roster or practice squad, so for now, the team is seemingly expecting Lutz to be ready to go for Sunday's game in Houston.

  • Matthew Wright: Signing with New England

Wright is expected to be signed to the Patriots' practice squad, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.

Wright could compete with Chad Ryland as New England's starting kicker, though nothing is set in stone. The 27-year-old was let go from Atlanta's practice squad Tuesday and may have a new home with the Patriots. Wright appeared in six games between the Chiefs and the Steelers in 2022, going 12-for-14 on field-goal attempts.

  • Blake Grupe K | IND

Saints' Blake Grupe: Limited in practice Wednesday

Grupe was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a right groin injury, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Grupe is tending to the injury after he connected on five of six field-goal tries in this past Sunday's 24-15 loss to the Falcons. The Saints signed Austin Seibert to their practice squad Monday, and he'll likely serve as the team's kicker this Sunday against the Lions if there's any concern about Grupe's ability to kick effectively with the injury this weekend.

  • Austin Seibert: Joining Saints' practice squad

Seibert will sign with the Saints' practice squad Wednesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports

Seibert was one of several kickers that tried out for the Saints on Tuesday as the team prepares for the possibility of Blake Grupe (undisclosed) being unable to kick Sunday against the Lions. The 27-year-old Siebert previously made his lone appearance of the season with the Jets in Week 2, making his sole field-goal and extra-point tries.

    Saints' Blake Grupe: Day-to-day

Grupe is dealing with an undisclosed injury and is considered day-to-day, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Grupe was listed on the injury report with a groin injury before Week 12, but he practiced fully Friday and played through the issue in Sunday's 24-15 loss to the Falcons, making five of his six field-goal attempts. The 25-year-old has made 24 of 30 field goals on the season, with all six misses coming from 40 yards out or longer. Austin Seibert is expected to join the team's practice squad and will likely handle the kicking duties Sunday against the Lions if the Saints aren't confident in Grupe's health.

  • Austin Seibert: Headed to New Orleans

Seibert is expected to sign with the Saints' practice squad, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Seibert will head to New Orleans where he will serve as backup to Blake Grupe. The 27-year-old was one of one on both field-goal attempts and extra-points tries during one game played with the Jets earlier this season.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Cardinals' Matt Prater: Misses only attempt

Prater missed his only field-goal try and didn't attempt an extra point in Sunday's 37-14 loss to the Rams.

Prater launched a 56-yarder wide right during the third quarter. The veteran has missed just four kicks all season, accounting for 68 total points despite Sunday's goose egg.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Small role in loss

Dicker made both his sole field goal and extra point in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Ravens.

Dicker converted his only field-goal attempt from 39 yards in the first quarter and tacked on an extra point in the fourth. The 23-year-old has made every attempted field goal since Week 3, and is 17 for 18 on the year, with his only miss being a 53-yard attempt. The second-year kicker has proven to be accurate throughout the year and will continue to be a solid option for managers if the Chargers hope to overcome their recent drought, especially against a struggling Patriots team in Week 13.
