Mike Badgley K | BUF
Lions' Michael Badgley: Reaches 100 points in 2022
Badgley converted two of three field-goal attempts and both of his PATs during Sunday's 20-16 loss to Detroit.
Badgley missed wide left on a 46-yard attempt but otherwise received enough opportunities to top 100 points for the season. Now set to hit unrestricted free agency after putting together an impressive season between 13 total games with the Bears and Lions, Badgley is a strong candidate -- but not a lock -- to return to Detroit in 2023.

Matthew Wright K | HOU
Matthew Wright: Moves back to practice squad
Wright reverted to the Chiefs' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Wright was brought up from the practice squad ahead of Saturday's game against the Raiders to serve as Kansas City's emergency kicker behind starter Harrison Butker, who was considered questionable to play with a back issue. However, with Butker available, the practice-squad kicker was ultimately ruled inactive pregame. Wright could be elevated again if Butker's health status either worsens or remains the same heading into the Chiefs' first playoff game during the divisional round of the playoffs.

Chris Boswell K | PIT
Steelers' Chris Boswell: Ends season on high note
Boswell converted both of his field-goal attempts while making all three of his extra-point tries during the Steelers' 28-14 win over the Browns on Sunday.
Boswell had missed at least one field-goal attempt in three of his four appearances leading up to Sunday's regular-season finale, but he was perfect against Cleveland to help the Steelers finish the year with a winning record. The 31-year-old missed five games in 2022 due to his groin injury, but he appeared in 12 matchups and made 20 of 28 field-goal attempts while converting all 18 of his extra-point tries. Boswell made 92.3 percent of his field-goal attempts over the three seasons prior to 2022 and re-signed with the Steelers on a four-year deal in August, so he'll likely continue to serve as Pittsburgh's kicker next year despite his 71.4 percent field-goal conversion rate this season.

Jason Sanders K | MIA
Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Clutch to end regular season
Sanders converted all three of his field-goal attempts during Sunday's 11-6 win over the Jets.
Sanders accounted for all of Miami's offensive points during the Week 18 divisional win, a victory that allowed the team to clinch a spot in the wild-card spot. Across 17 appearances in the 2022 regular season, Sanders converted 26 of 32 field-goal tries and 41 of 44 extra-point attempts.

Daniel Carlson K | LV
Raiders' Daniel Carlson: Finishes season with 137 points
Carlson converted both of his field-goal attempts and made his only extra-point try in Saturday's 31-13 loss to the Chiefs.
Carlson booted his 11th 50-yard plus field goal of the season during the first quarter Saturday, and he ultimately finished the 2022 campaign tied for third in points scored with 137 behind only fellow kickers Jason Myers and Justin Tucker. Carlson made 34 of 37 field-goal attempts in 17 games, registering a conversion rate north of 90 percent for a third consecutive year, while also nailing 35 of 36 extra-point tries. His current contract is slated to keep him in Las Vegas through 2025.

Matt Gay K | SF
Rams' Matt Gay: Productive in season finale
Gay connected on all three of his field-goal attempts and converted his lone extra-point try during Sunday's 19-16 overtime loss to the Seahawks.
Gay opened the scoring for the Rams with a 22-yard field goal, and later tacked on field goals from 45 and 38 yards. Gay, who will be an unrestricted free agent, had another impressive season with the Rams, going 28-for-30 on field goals -- his only two misses coming from beyond 50 yards -- and 31-for-32 on extra points. The Rams will likely be keen on keeping the talented kicker, as Gay was one of the few components of the offense that was consistent from start to finish this season.

Greg Joseph K | LV
Vikings' Greg Joseph: Makes all three FG attempts
Joseph went 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts and 2-for-3 on point-after tries during Sunday's 29-13 win over Chicago.
Joseph made field goals from 28, 50 and 41 yards, which should be a confidence booster after missing attempts from 46 and 50 yards in last week's blowout loss at Green Bay.
-
Brett Maher K | LAR
Cowboys' Brett Maher: Goose egg in season finale
Maher didn't receive a field-goal attempt and missed his only extra point try in Sunday's loss to the Commanders.
It was a mind-bogglingly bad performance by the entire Dallas offense to close out the regular season, and Maher's first missed PAT since Week 13 on his only kick of the day was the cherry on top. The 33-year-old still set a new career high with 50 made PATs this season and tied his career high with 29 FGs, including a 9-for-11 showing from 50 yards or longer, and Maher may not be able to afford any mistakes in Monday's wild-card clash with the Buccaneers.

Wil Lutz K | DEN
Saints' Wil Lutz: Ends season on sour note
Lutz missed both field goal attempts and converted his only extra-point try during Sunday's 10-7 defeat to Carolina.
Lutz's streak of consistency over the second half of the season came to an end Week 18. The 28-year-old missed his first 44-yard field-goal attempt wide left early in the second quarter. Lutz also had a chance to put the Saints up 10-7 with under two minutes remaining, though this 55-yard attempt also went wide left after being tipped near the line of scrimmage. Lutz ends his career-worst 2022 campaign by converting 74 percent of his 31 field-goal tries while knocking through all 33 of his point-after tries over 17 games. He also had his shakiest season on long-distance tries, going 8-for-14 on attempts of 40 or more yards. Lutz could be in line for a make-or-break 2023 season as he enters the fifth and final year of his current contract with New Orleans.

Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Extends perfection in finale
Fairbairn made his lone field-goal attempt and all three extra-point kicks in Sunday's 32-31 win over Indianapolis in Week 18.
Fairbairn had a strong season while kicking for one of the worst offenses in the league. He finished out the year by making all 31 kicks over the final 11 games and made all six tries from 50 and beyond. There will be a new coaching staff in 2023, but it shouldn't take much effort to see Fairbairn was not a problem for Houston in 2022. He enters the final year of his contract after successfully converting 29 of 31 field-goal tries.
