  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Converts game-winner Week 1

Sanders converted two of three field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 20-17 win over the Jaguars.

Sanders missed wide left from 42 yards out in the fourth quarter, but he more than made up for the gaff by converting from 37 yards out with less than five minutes remaining, then nailing a 52-yarder to put Miami ahead as time expired. The sixth-year pro will look to remain clutch Week 2, as the Dolphins prepare for a divisional Thursday Night Football matchup against the Bills.

  • Colts' Spencer Shrader: Doesn't attempt field goal Sunday

Shrader converted all three of his extra-point tries but did not attempt a field goal in Sunday's 29-27 loss to the Texans.

Matt Gay (hernia) was unable to practice leading up to Week 1, which prompted the Colts to promote Shrader from the practice squad. Shrader didn't end up attempting a field goal in Sunday's loss, though he was perfect on all of his extra-point attempts. Shrader will likely be elevated to the active roster for Week 2 against the Packers if Gay is unable to participate in practice.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Stays busy in win

Elliott made four extra-point attempts and two field goals in Friday's 34-29 win over the Packers.

Elliott has been one of the best kickers in football for the last three seasons and so far has carried that success into 2024. The Memphis product was perfect on the day, making 21 and 38-yard field goals, aiding Philadelphia in its Week 1 win. Elliott and the Eagles will host the Falcons next Monday in Week 2.

  • Joey Slye K | NE

Patriots' Joey Slye: Perfect in Week 1 win

Slye made all three of his field-goal attempts and converted on his lone extra-point attempt in Sunday's 16-10 win over the Bengals.

All three of Slye's field-goal attempts Sunday were within 40 yards. His longest came from 37 yards out in the fourth quarter to give the Patriots a nine-point lead. Slye will look to continue his perfect season in Week 2 against the Jets on Thursday.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Kicks field goal in loss

McPherson made his lone field goal attempt and extra-point try in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Patriots.

McPherson didn't have a kick attempt until the third quarter of Sunday's game due to the Bengals' offense struggling to march down the field. He converted the extra-point attempt in the third quarter following a Zack Moss touchdown run, and McPherson connected on a 51-yard field-goal attempt late in the fourth quarter. McPherson and Cincinnati will take on Kansas City in Week 2.

  • Tyler Bass K | BUF

Bills' Tyler Bass: Perfect in victory

Bass made all four extra-point attempts and two field goals in Sunday's 34-28 win over the Cardinals.

Bass didn't miss Sunday, first connecting on a 37-yard FGA and then a 39-yarder in the final minutes that extended the Bills lead to 6. With four successful PATs included, it was a perfect Week 1 for the veteran kicker. Next up for Bass and the Bills is a divisional matchup Thursday against the Dolphins.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Successful debut

Reichard made all four extra-point attempts in Sunday's 28-6 win over the Giants.

Reichard made his NFL debut Week 1 after being selected in the sixth round of the 2024 Draft and winning the team's kicking competition in training camp. The Alabama product never received an opportunity to kick a field goal, but at least remains perfect thus far in his rookie campaign.

  • Colts' Spencer Shrader: Set for kicking duties

Shrader is in line to assume kicking duties for the Colts in Week 1 against the Texans after Matt Gay (hernia) was declared inactive.

Shrader was called up from the practice squad Saturday, and the rookie out of Notre Dame will now make his NFL debut. During his fifth collegiate season with the Irish, Shrader converted on 15 of 22 field-goal attempts and 61 of 62 extra points. While the accuracy wasn't tremendous, he did connect on four kicks of 50-plus yards that season.

  • Matt Gay K | IND

Colts' Matt Gay: Inactive for opener

Gay (hernia) is inactive Week 1 against the Texans.

The writing was on the wall when Indianapolis activated fellow place kicker Spencer Shrader from the practice squad Saturday, and now Shrader is in line to officially assume kicking duties Sunday. Gay's next chance to return will be Week 2 in Green Bay, but the first step will be returning to the practice field -- something he was unable to accomplish in the three team practices leading up to the opener.

  • Colts' Spencer Shrader: Added to active roster

The Colts elevated Shrader from the practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against Houston.

Matt Gay missed practice all week after undergoing surgery on a sports hernia following Indianapolis' last preseason game Aug. 22. Shrader's promotion would appear to indicate Gay won't be available Sunday, but official word on the Colts' plans at kicker won't be available until the team announces its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
