Zane Gonzalez K | ATL
Cardinals' Zane Gonzalez: Nails season-long try
Gonzalez converted all three field-goal attempts in Sunday's 31-9 loss to the Saints.
Gonzalez hit a pair of field goals from 31 yards, but his game was highlighted by a season-long 50-yard conversion. He has been superb this year by drilling all 13 extra-point tries, and his 21 completed field goals ties Jaguars' kicker Josh Lambo for most in the leauge. No kicker has more field-goal attempts than Gonzalez's 24, though, and he'll look to keep up the good work Thursday against the 49ers.

Matt Bryant K | ATL
Falcons' Matt Bryant: Two more missed kicks in Week 8
Bryant went 2-for-4 on field-goal tries and did not attempt an extra point during Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Seahawks.
There must have been a hex placed on Falcons kickers over the offseason, as no one who has assumed the role has done so without struggles. Bryant and Giorgio Tavecchio combined for an incredible 96.2 percent conversion rate on field-goal tries in 2018 (25-for-26), but Tavecchio had a disastrous preseason showing with just four makes on nine attempts, while Bryant has gone 9-for-14 on field goals during the regular season. Clearly, Bryant is struggling from long range, as both of his misses Sunday came from 50-plus yards. This has seemingly become a trend, given that four of his five misses thus far this season have come from that distance.

Jason Myers K | SEA
Seahawks' Jason Myers: Perfect against Falcons
Myers made both field-goal attempts and all three extra points in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Falcons.
Myers connected on just one of four field-goal attempts over 40 yards in the previous seven games, but he converted tries from 42 and 54 yards in this contest. It helps that Myers was in Atlanta's dome stadium, and he won't have that luxury again for the rest of the year. Myers should have plenty of opportunities on tap against the Buccaneers in Week 9.

Joey Slye K | TEN
Panthers' Joey Slye: Hardly involved Sunday
Slye made his only field-goal attempt and did not attempt any extra points in Sunday's 51-13 loss to the 49ers.
Slye converted from 41 yards on his lone kicking effort in Sunday's blowout defeat. Although he's averaging over eight points per game this season, Slye has gone for under five points in two of his last three appearances, hurting his stock of late.

Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: No misses for second straight game
Fairbairn successfully converted two field-goal attempts and three extra-point kicks in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Raiders.
Fairbairn had a rocky start to the season, but he's nailed all of his kicks the last two weeks, looking like the reliable placekicker that led the NFL in scoring in 2018. Just like last season, he's been there for the Texans when there were unable to reach the end zone in five of their last 10 red-zone appearances. It looks like the recent focused work on the kicking operation -- the long snapper and holder included -- has paid off.

Wil Lutz K | DEN
Saints' Wil Lutz: Misses for second straight week
Lutz converted one of two field goals and all four of his extra-point attempts in the Saints' 31-9 victory over the Cardinals on Sunday.
In a surprising turn of events, the ever-reliable Lutz has now failed to connect on three field-goal attempts over his last two contests. He remains a high-tier kicker option, despite his recent inaccuracies. He'll head into the Week 9 bye having made 16-of-20 field goals and 19-of-20 extra points.

Eddy Pineiro K | SF
Bears' Eddy Pineiro: Misses game-winning kick
Pineiro made three of five field-goal attempts in Chicago's 17-16 loss to the Chargers on Sunday.
Fantasy owners will certainly take the 10 points that Pineiro provided them, but he was ultimately the goat in this contest, missing a 41-yard field goal that kept the Bears from winning this game. His misses lowered his field-goal percentage to 80, but he only had missed a kick in one other contest this year. Despite reaching double digits in three different games, he's posted five or fewer points in three other contests, making him a volatile fantasy option.

Chase McLaughlin K | TB
Chargers' Chase McLaughlin: Starting again Sunday
McLaughlin will start at kicker against Chicago on Sunday.
McLaughlin is drawing the start for the fourth week in a row while Michael Badgley (groin) remains out. The rookie has hit all five of his extra point attempts and is 5-for-7 on field goal attempts over the past three weeks.
-
Mike Badgley K | BUF
Chargers' Michael Badgley: Ruled out Sunday vs. Bears
Badgley (groin) is inactive for Sunday's tilt against Chicago.
Badgley is inactive despite being a full participant at practice throughout the week. Chase McLaughlin will handle the kicking duties once again while Badgley sets his sights on returning next week.

Chase McLaughlin K | TB
Chargers' Chase McLaughlin: Likely gets another start
McLaughlin is expected to start Sunday against the Bears, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Despite earning a questionable designation for Sunday's game, it appears as if Michael Badgley (groin) is still not expected to play, making way for McLaughlin to record his fourth consecutive start. The undrafted rookie is currently five for seven on field-goal attempts, including a 50-yard field goal in the fourth quarter of last Sunday's loss to the Titans.
