Jets' Jason Myers: Misses another kick

Myers made one of two field-goal tries to go with all five of his PAT attempts in Sunday's 44-38 overtime loss to the Packers.

Myers sank a 33-yarder to send it to overtime, but that kick could have been the game-winner if he hadn't missed from 45 on the opening drive. While Myers has had a stellar season, his level of play has slipped noticeably down the stretch.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Ready to play

Elliott (illness) doesn't have a designation on the final injury report for Sunday's game against the Texans, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.

Elliott missed practice Thursday but made it back Friday, apparently making good progress in his recovery from an illness. He'll be fine to handle the kicking work Week 16, facing a Houston team ranked fifth in the league for points allowed (20.1 per game).

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Back at practice

Elliott (illness) took part in Friday's practice, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Elliott was unable to practice Thursday because of his illness, but it appears he was feeling good enough to get back on the field Friday. That puts him back on track to suit up for Sunday's matchup with the Texans.

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Misses practice with illness

Elliott didn't practice Thursday due to an illness, Daniel Gallen of The Harrisburg Patriot-News reports.

Some type of flu bug was already afflicting Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, who missed a second consecutive practice Thursday. There's no telling if Elliott is dealing with something similar, but a teammate (reserve LB Kamu Grugier-Hill) kicked field goals in his absence, so the Eagles may be confident the issue is short term in nature. Friday's injury report will reveal Elliott's chances to suit up Sunday against the Texans.

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Not seen at practice

Elliott (undisclosed) wasn't present at practice Thursday, Zach Berman of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The reason for Elliott's absence wasn't immediately known and may not be revealed until Thursday's injury report is posted. In Elliott's place, backup linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill was seen kicking field goals Thursday, so perhaps it's a positive sign that a teammate rather than a newcomer is filling in for the second-year kicker.

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Panthers' Graham Gano: Heading to injured reserve

The Panthers placed Gano (knee) on injured reserve Wednesday, Bryan Strickland of the team's official site reports.

Gano has missed the last two games due to complications with the left knee, the second time in three seasons that he's tended to issues with his plant leg. He'll end the campaign succeeding on 14 of 16 field-goal attempts and 30 of 33 point-after tries. Chandler Catanzaro will serve as the Panthers' kicker for the last two contests of the season.

  • Brett Maher K | LAR

Cowboys' Brett Maher: Scoreless versus Colts

Maher missed his lone field-goal try and did not attempt an extra point in Sunday's 23-0 loss to the Colts.

Maher had a 48-yard field goal blocked and returned for a touchdown, though that eventually got called back as the recoverer was ruled down by contact, following Dallas' first offensive drive of Sunday's game. After that, the Cowboys struggled to put him in scoring position, resulting in both parties finishing with a goose egg on the day.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Notches 10 points

McManus made all three of his field-goal attempts as well as his lone extra-point try in Saturday night's 17-16 loss to the Browns.

McManus converted from 44, 42 and 29 yards on his respective field goals, helping him hit double figures in points for the first time since Week 4.

  • Wil Lutz K | DEN

Saints' Wil Lutz: Scores six points

Lutz made both his field-goal tries but did not attempt an extra point in Monday night's 12-9 win over the Panthers.

Lutz converted from 46 and 24 yards on his respective attempts, but had his opportunities limited again by a New Orleans offense that struggled in comparison to its standard. The kicker has now gone four straight games without double-digit points, a noticeable decline from his five through the Saints' first 10 outings.

  • Ravens' Justin Tucker: Two field goals in win

Tucker connected on both field-goal attempts and both extra-point attempts in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers.

Tucker converted field-goal attempts from 24-yards and 35-yards out. He improves to 28-for-30 on field-goal attempts this season -- fifth best percentage in the league of those over at least 20 attempts.
