Matt Bryant K | ATL
Falcons' Matt Bryant: Held out of practice after bye
Bryant (hamstring) didn't take part in Wednesday's practice, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
Coach Dan Quinn already said Bryant would wait until Thursday to test out his sore right hamstring. It isn't a great sign that the 43-year-old kicker is still limited after a bye week, but his outlook would change if he feels comfortable during Thursday's session. Giorgio Tavecchio will step in as Atlanta's kicker if Bryant isn't ready for Sunday's game at Carolina.

Greg Joseph K | LV
Browns' Greg Joseph: Two misses in loss
Joseph missed one of his three field-goal attempts as well as his lone extra-point try in Sunday's 33-18 loss to the Steelers.
Joseph converted from 34 and 45 yards, but missed wide right from 41 yards on his final field-goal effort. With a missed extra point as well, Joseph is left with 36 points through six games.

Brandon McManus K | GB
Broncos' Brandon McManus: Misses field goal
McManus missed one of his two field-goal attempts but made both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the Chiefs.
McManus converted from 36 yards after missing wide right from 55 yards on his first attempt of the game. His 56 points thus far are tied for 13th among kickers.

Jason Sanders K | MIA
Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Scores 11 points
Sanders made all three of his field-goal attempts and both his extra-point tries in Week 8 versus the Texans.
Sanders converted from 37, 41 and 46 yards on his respective three field goals. His 11 points tied a season high, bringing his total to 46 through eight appearances.

Mike Badgley K | BUF
Michael Badgley: Waived by Chargers
Badgley was waived by the Chargers on Tuesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM Radio reports.
With Caleb Sturgis (quadriceps) nearing his return, the Chargers no longer had a need for Badgley, despite his strong showing with the team. The rookie kicker converted all three of his field-goal attempts and didn't miss an extra point. It's likely Badgley will be called upon for a tryout the next time a team is searching for a kicker.

Caleb Sturgis K | LAC
Chargers' Caleb Sturgis: Trending toward return
Sturgis (quadriceps) looks like he will be available for Sunday's game in Seattle after the Chargers waived Michael Badgley on Tuesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM Radio reports.
Sturgis missed the Chargers' past two contests due to a strained quadriceps, but on the heels of a bye week, he seems to be trending toward a return. The release of Badgley, his replacement, is the best sign that Sturgis is closing in game action. Sturgis will end all speculation if he's listed as a full participant on Wednesday's injury report.

Harrison Butker K | KC
Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Misfires on extra point for first time in career
Butker knocked home his only field-goal attempt Sunday, but he hit only three of his four extra-point tries.
Butker was a perfect 50-for-50 on extra-point attempts entering Sunday's contest, but he failed to knock home his second try against the Broncos. He's still been one of the most consistent kickers in the league and kicks for one of the NFL's most explosive offenses, making Butker a must-own in most formats.

Jake Elliott K | PHI
Eagles' Jake Elliott: Has perfect day in win
Elliott made his lone field-goal attempt in Sunday's 24-18 win over the Jaguars, tacking on three extra points.
Elliott had missed field-goal tries in each of his last two contests and had received the dreaded vote of confidence from his head coach in the week leading up to the game, so even though it wasn't a huge scoring day for the second-year kicker, it was important nonetheless in terms of job security. Heading into a Week 9 bye makes the 23-year-old droppable in most fantasy leagues, especially with a terrible slate of matchups for kickers over the rest of the season.
-
Wil Lutz K | DEN
Saints' Wil Lutz: Perfect again
Lutz converted three of three field-goal attempts and made all three of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 30-20 win over the Vikings.
Lutz logged another strong fantasy performance in Week 8, including a long field-goal attempt of 52 yards. New Orleans will face off against the Rams on Sunday, so Lutz should once again benefit from a high-scoring gamescript in Week 9.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Panthers' Graham Gano: Perfect in Week 8
Gano made all three of his field-goal attempts and converted each of his three extra-point tries during Sunday's 36-21 win over the Ravens.
Gano notched 12 points during the Week 8 win, including a long field-goal attempt of 54 yards. The 31-year-old remains one of the top fantasy options at the kicker position, and will face off against the Buccaneers on Sunday.
