  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Another productive week

Fairbairn made all three of his field-goal attempts and six of seven extra-point kicks in Houston's 57-14 win over Tennessee in Week 3.

Fairbairn's missed extra point was the lone demerit on what was otherwise a fantastic day for the Texans. The rookie placekicker, who is a perfect 9-of-9 on field goals this season, has accounted for 31 points over the last two weeks, vaulting him into fifth in scoring among the league's kickers. Since Deshaun Watson has taken over as the starting quarterback, the offense has taken off, making Fairbairn worthy as a weekly starter.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Converts all four field-goal attempts

Elliott made each of his four field-goal tries in Sunday's win over the Chargers and added two extra points.

After setting a rookie record with a 61-yard game-winner in Week 3, Elliott was again the difference-maker as all four of his kicks were from 40 yards out or more, with a long of 53. Very impressive, considering it took an injury to incumbent Caleb Sturgis for the former Memphis Tiger to get his shot. He'll look to keep the momentum going next week at home against Arizona.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Scores eight points in win

Boswell connected on field goals of 30 and 49 yards, and converted two extra-point attempts in Sunday's 26-9 win against the Ravens.

This was a satisfactory outing for Boswell that had the potential to be much better. He was wide left on a 44-yard field goal try, and the scoreboard dictated that Pittsburgh attempt a two-point conversion after scoring just before the half. Boswell has now missed twice in the past two games, frustrating fantasy owners.

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Panthers' Graham Gano: Makes game-winner versus Pats

Gano converted both his field-goal attempts and three of four extra-point tries en route to nine points in Sunday's 33-30 win over the Patriots.

Gano's missed extra point ruined his perfect record on all kicks this season, but considering he made a 48-yard field goal as time expired, he'll surely be plenty happy with sealing another victory for the Panthers.

  • Rams' Greg Zuerlein: Historic showing against Cowboys

Zuerlein connected on seven field-goal attempts and two extra-point kicks during Sunday's 35-30 win over Dallas.

This was a historic performance from Zuerlein, and he's now hit 14 field goals and 14 extra points without missing a kick through four games. It's been a perfect storm for Zuerlein through four weeks, as the Rams have proven capable of moving the ball into scoring position but struggled to score touchdowns. It's worth noting that the upcoming schedule is daunting, though.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Cairo Santos: Waived off injured reserve

The Chiefs waived/injured Santos (groin) on Saturday, Chiefs reporter BJ Kissel reports.

Santos was expected to return to health in the latter portion of the season, so it's somewhat surprising the Chiefs opted to let him go as opposed to making him one of their two players eligible for activation from IR. The team is apparently confident in the recently acquired Harrison Butker. Santos will now be free to find a new opportunity once his health allows it.

  • Connor Barth K | CHI

Bears' Connor Barth: Misses only field-goal attempt Thursday

Barth connected on a pair of extra-point conversions in Thursday's 35-14 loss to the Packers.

Barth pushed a 57-yard field-goal attempt wide to the left, and as a result, he had a poor fantasy performance. With just two made field goals over the first four weeks of the season, he's a low-end fantasy option.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Nails three field goals

McManus connected on field goals of 38, 35 and 28 yards and converted an extra-point attempt in Sunday's 26-16 loss to the Bills.

Denver's struggles in the red zone benefited McManus, as he was set up for a trifecta of low-stress attempts. Supported by a solid, but not great offense a season ago, McManus was able to rack up 34 field-goal attempts, with his 29 conversions placing him 10th in the NFL. The Denver offense was humming nicely through the first two weeks and thus limited McManus to three attempts during those contests, but after quarterback Trevor Siemian and company took a slight step back in Week 3, the kicker was actually a beneficiary of increased scoring opportunities.

  • Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Inks deal with Kansas City

The Chiefs signed Butker off the Panthers' practice squad Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Cairo Santos, who may have aggravated a lingering groin injury after he took a hit on a roughing penalty in the Week 3 win over the Chargers, was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, paving the way for Butker to step in to handle kicking duties for Kansas City. Butker ended up losing the kicking battle to incumbent Graham Gano in Carolina during the preseason, but he could be inheriting a more fertile scoring situation with the Chiefs, who have fielded a surprisingly potent offense early on. Considering that Santos is tied for the league lead with 12 extra points on the campaign, Butker could justify a roster spot even in shallow formats so long as the Chiefs offense continues to reach the red zone with regularity.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Chiefs' Cairo Santos: Lands on IR

The Chiefs placed Santos (groin) on injured reserve Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

According to Terez A. Paylor of The Kansas City Star, Santos, who missed three weeks of training camp with a groin injury, was kicking for the Chiefs during the first three weeks of the season while still recovering from the issue. While the injury didn't seem to hinder his performance -- he made all 12 of his extra-point attempts and all three of his field-goal tries -- Santos was on the receiving end of a big hit in Sunday's win over the Chargers, which may have presented further aggravation. The extent of Santos' setback is unclear, but it's conceivable that he could be one of two players the Chiefs elect to reinstate from IR once he spends at least eight weeks on the inactive list. In the meantime, the Chiefs signed Harrison Butker to fill the void at kicker, and he could be of immediate intrigue in most formats given the potency of the Kansas City offense this season.
